Re: Elden Ring
I'm about 70 hours in to this, around level 75 and mainly put most my points in to Dex and Endurance. Trying to level up intelligence now through just to access a few spells. But man, this game is incredible. Every time I go on I'm finding new stuff, even in areas I thought I'd totally cleared. I've...
Re: Disney +
One of my all time favorite comic series, but after Preacher and The Boys, which were OK but not amazing, I'm not overly convinced. Quietly hopeful, though.

Re: A great big thread about comics
Sounds interesting, never read much horror stuff outside of Alan Moore's Lovecraftian books. I'm currently making my way through the Batman No Man's Land saga - there's a lot of reading, over 100 issues! Also still keeping up with American Gods, which is almost wrapped up now. I'm also dipping in an...

2008 was the original version, but it got fully remade and commercially released in 2012.The Jackal wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2019 10:39 pmI thought Spelunky came out far before 2010 (whenever they're starting this "decade").

Re: EDGE 339 - Christmas 2019
That's a fairly dreadful list for games of the decade. I wonder what their criteria for selection was.

Re: Welcome to Blade Runner month !
Is it really Blade Runner month, as in that's actually a thing? I've been meaning to rewatch it for months now before watching the new(ish!) one, which I still haven't got round to seeing. Seems like a good time!

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2 [PS4, XBone] - PC in November
I'd love to have a mammoth PC to play this on maximum settings. Even the base PS4 version was mesmerisingly beautiful. I can't see anything toppling it off my all time favorite game spot and time soon.

I just wish he'd do a remaster of Policenauts using the English fan translation. Played around half of that game, and it's brilliant. Would love a Switch port.

Re: The Witcher - The Netflix Series
I think it looks good, and The Witcher 3 is still my second favourite game of all time. I can't wait to add it to my Netflix list and never watch it, personally.

Kojima has never let me down yet. I remain both hyped, and too poor to buy day one.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
We watched Summer Of 84 the other night. I enjoyed it and thought it had a great ending. It's a homage to the slasher flicks of the 80s in many ways, and has a killer soundtrack.

Re: Dying Light, I played the main campaign earlier this year and loved it. The threat of night time was so real, I found myself panicking when it started getting dark, and always made a beeline for a safehouse. Never did any coop, bet that would be really fun. I've still got the add on I need to go...

Re: Game of the Year Awards
If a game has come out this year and you played it this year it can be considered for GOTY, so Yakzua Zero counts as it came out on PC and sure you can add Hollow Knight for Switch. Don't worry about alphabetising the list Sly, it's just to help job people's memories. EDIT: I added Hollow Knight. A...

Re: Game of the Year Awards
I don't really know what you're taking about. I said I'd only played one of the games on the list. Then I said two, if we count Yakuza 0, but we can't as it didn't come out this year. Then I wondered out loud whether you or whoever put Yakuza 0 on the list was maybe thinking of Yakuza Kiwami, ...
