Re: E3 2021 - Press Conferences and News - June 12-15

Squeenix are also doing a new Final Fantasy 1-6 collection which I'm vaguely interested in, hopefully it's not another repackaging of the mobile games that completely ruined all of the artwork in one of my most fondly remembered games. From what I've read floating around the internet it very much s...

Re: E3 2021 - Press Conferences and News - June 12-15

I think people will see that Guardians of the Galaxy headline and assume it's an addon or half-sequel to that tedious Square Enix's Disney's Marvel's The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Live Service Roadmap Heroes , but it's much more a Mass Effect meets Telltale Games style single-player RPG adventure ...

Re: You have quite the treasure there in that Horadric Cube!

I never saw Diablo II as life changing, but I did enjoy it, and I suspect I'll be there on day one. I played Diablo 3 far more.

Yeah, me too. Fancy a game? :P

To be honest I forgot that was news, as it was leaked the other day.

Re: Battlefield 6

Yeah, the only way I'd ever even attempt to play another Battlefield game was if a group of us decided to buy it and play together. I just don't find these things fun anymore without friends.

Re: Battlefield 6

Battlefield has always been a clusterfuck, it's just that they're finally leaning into it with the marketing.

Re: Xbox & Microsoft News/Discussion

So the Microsoft showcase was just one thing I want to try after another, and with most of it seemingly coming to Gamepass for free, there's a good chance I'll actually do that. I can't say there was anything that truly stood out as a must-have though; there were a few with promise to be, but that w...

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

I didn't have any ill effects after my second jab, I'd been pretty unwell after the first.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

Yup, I'm definitely up for more D&D. I'm not sure what I'd play; I definitely tend to be magically inclined, but other than that I've no definite plan.

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I think I could have happily doubled the runtime of Invincible's first season. It never felt rushed or truncated, I just wanted more of it by the end.

Don't worry Slythe, us casters are equally mystified about how you command people, remove their possessions and turn entirely impervious to perception without burning through a spell slot.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

Charr is basically a dragon at this point though, so at least he's got that to fall back on. Oh as a player I'm perfectly happy with Charr's power level, but as a character he's getting a bit power hungry now that we're routinely taking down ancient dragons and personifications of entropy. I think ...

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

Sorry I killed your babies Raid. Sly did give me the nod though! Don't worry, Charr will have noted that and I'm sure he'll only hold it against you both if we come across a situation where 300 spell-slinging babies would have come in useful. With his increasingly warped mind I think you'll discove...

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

To be honest, I've killed so many heads of the paladin order by this point that I imagine they'd think I was messing with them.
