Re: Moving Pictures

I like how he entirely absolves himself from blame, and in fairness to him, this does seem to be equipment failure that couldn't be anticipated, but from a non-American perspective, at some point you have to realise that a weapon capable of putting a metal slug through a god damn fire hydrant proba...

Re: General TV News

Rick and Morty is some of the cleverest writing I've ever watched, genuinely. It smashes so many Sci-fi tropes but plays with them first, usually subverting them. It absolutely transcends the fact it's a cartoon. Really really clever stuff.

Am I odd for having zero interest in doing Zoom calls with friends and family? I've only done it the once and hated the experience of it. Think it might be the needless video bit, I know what they all look like. Maybe I'm just antisocial :-k
Aye, you're just anti social ;)

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

Moving out of houses/flats. Everything takes longer than you expect, no bags are ever big enough, stains appear that weren't there in the weeks leading up to move out day. Utter joke. It's a massive pain in the arse. I've moved far too much in my life, I think, at times. Each time, I say "Never aga...

Microsoft Teams. It's unstable and it has some bewildering design features, e.g. when you're in a call and someone posts something in the chat sidebar, if you've got the window maximised then you can't reply because the notification appears right over the textbox. ](*,) But worst of all, setting yo...

Amazing how social media is now taking away his access after the 4 years of fucking insanity they helped propagate, now that he can't retaliate. Cunts.
I'd kinda agree with that. The prevailing wind has changed direction hasn't it?

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 [PC, PS4, XBone] - out September 17 2020

I read the Polygon review which was an interesting take on things. as it doesn't really seem to go into details of the mechanics so much. My creaky PC won't run this so I never had any intention of getting it until I upgrade or get a current gen console but I'm very interested in it.

I think he likes the new mouse, chaps. And why shouldn't you, the G502 is damn near perfect. It's such an obvious recommendation that I suspect it'll become the official* Gamers Arms hardware choice, like the Creative T20s were on Preys World. *not actually official I don't think people fully grasp...
