We might have to hold off for another week. Its 50/50 at the minute whether I'll have to stop away with work on Thursday and I wouldn't want to leave it until the last minute to confirm it or not.
I think this week was unfortunately not meant to be. I took one day off work and today everyone but Santa has been onto me with urgent stuff that needs doing, so it's probably going to be a late one.

That's understandable, holidays (or rather coming back from them) can be a bitch.

No problem, I opted out of staying over and drove home but we're in the same place tomorrow and I'm already zonked so will need an early night anyway.

Yeah, I'd kinda assumed that we weren't going to be playing this evening based on what Mantis said the other day.

Could we do Wednesday this week? Thursday is a no go for me, I'm afraid.

Arguably still good because we just liberated Gainsborough from potentially eternal torment.

Pity we can't afford to do a similar thing for the council members who are all now aware of our being less than honest with them in the past. 8-[

Ha, yes, I do promise I purchased Gainsborough II out of guilt and my intention is to free him as best I can.

And we could always try to rescue Beatrix somehow...?

We'll have to wait for her face to reform first to make sure we're not saving some random peasant.

It'll have healed by now, I'm sure.

Maybe it was a bit much, but I just felt she was being a bit judgey :x

We could save them. Be a shame if we couldn't though. I mean, it would solve all our problems of being fraudulent High Lords of the North if everyone who was involved in our ascension was trapped as slaves in the hells. Such a shame.

There is actually the concept of the evil in the Nine Hells being so pervasive that it can turn good people evil, so if we ever get to the D&D equivalent of the Nuremberg trials then you could always play that line.
