It's probably worth mentioning that I was quite disappointed with that damage roll of 91 on 8th level Disintegrate.

What's the max it can put out at that level? I don't think I have much in my arsenal that even comes close to what numbers others can hit now, unless I use all 3 spell slots casting Blight repeatedly but that didn't go so well today.

Sage is more geared towards dealing with bigger crowds of weaker enemies. These single combats against really tough foes are rough going for him, particularly now we're hitting standard weapon attack immunity so even T-Rex form isn't doing any damage.

It's 16d6+40, so 136. When I first picked it up I rolled it 10 or 15 times and the 8th level version averaged between 90 and 110. Charr does now have a metamagic option for dealing with multiple enemies, but I've slowly been getting rid of my AoE spells as I was finding them almost impossible to use without damaging party members. If you'll forgive the MMO parlance, Charr is very much a single-target nuker for the most part.

Sorry, I don't think this week's going to be possible. I'm just about able to sit at my desk now, but my knee's already painful. Improving, though, so hopefully next week is on the cards.

Yeah, thought that might be the case when you were saying how bad it was. Not to worry, I've got loops to hero :)

Hope the knee is better soon.

This week is a no go for me I'm afraid, I'm going away until the weekend tomorrow and can't really give up much time tonight for a session.

Why do I feel like we're going to forget all about this Horn of Unity thing and instead focus on rescuing Gainsborough's soul from hell?

The sad thing is instead of immolating Hamfist, I could have used my action to stabilise him. It didn't even occur to me though, because instead I could immolate Hamfist.

In my defence, I had already saved him from falling 100 feet into the sky, and my saving quota was filled for the day.
