First DLC The Foundation is out for £11.99 on the epic store

Thought I'd finished Control months ago - great game - but couldn't start the DLC because I hadn't in fact finsihed the game. I got bored of the grind getting through the Hedron level. Oh well, back to it...

The 2nd DLC should be good - it's the last new content for the game so doesn't look like it sold very well(plus new Metro gme in development). The first DLC was story heavy but, as a game I thought was poor. The new DLC is an open-world map - should be more fun - and quite big.

Exodus available for £7.50 with a voucher (read the hotukdals post to find out how to get the £10 off). Good game for the holidays if you've got some free time...second DLC shouldn't be too far away either.

... Hearing that the combat is a lot like Quantum Break which is good because I really liked the combat in that game. I didn't get going with Qauntum Break -couldn't get the keyboard controls to work for me, but then I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to controls...managed Max Payne without any ...

Nice to have some new content TOMORROW! ...checks I'm not going out tomorrow evening. Corridor based which is not my favourite but better not complain before I;ve even played it :-)

So, 2 expansions/data packs/mission disks/DLC... whatever you want to call them. The first -soon -traditional Metro (tunnels) stuff by the sound of it and the second -more interesting- sandbox survival level but not until next year. Blimey, why does development take so long...

Sitting on a mixed rating (61% positive) on Steam as well after 750 reviews. Sounds like what PCG said about great gunplay, uninspiring game world isn't far off the mark judging by the user reviews I've seen. Played for a couple of hours - the above sounds about right. One of the most dull openning...
