Re: Wanking now requires a Govt pass

I'd have to agree that social media probably does more damage to people's mental health in the long run than pornography.

Re: Game of Thrones S8

I care so little about the deluge of prequels and spin offs that have been rumoured. The series dipped in quality so much by the time it was a season or two ahead of the books, I don't have much faith in any studio being able to make a good adaptation of the limited material in the compendium books....

Re: Game of Thrones S8

It does seem like a very short season given how much material there could potentially be with the white walkers. 7 seasons of building up hype to polish them off in a couple of episodes and then have the finale climax down in King's Landing against Cersei? I do hope not. There is so much they could ...

Re: General Film News

I disagree that it was necessary to entirely dump the expanded universe to make the new movies. Marvel have done a decent enough job of producing movies from many decades worth of material that came before from the comics. I don't really know an enormous amount about it outside of various video game...

Re: Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

It would be great if it were like the Jedi Knight series. Nothing has ever quite lived up to them in the franchise since.

Re: General Film News

I recall reading a while ago that they were going to repurpose some of the leftover footage that she shot for Ep8.

Curious as to how the story is going to pan out given that little laugh at the end of the trailer and the title.

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

Cooper's Bill has been passed into UK law tonight. It is now legally binding for the Government to apply for an A.50 extension to avoid a No Deal.

She was doing that anyway, but whatever. It shows the substantial backing in the House for not crashing out.

We already had this debate, but interesting that this game has prompted it within the wider community.

Re: Currently Listening

Periphery have "leaked" their new album which is due out on Friday. If you liked their previous effort, you should like this. I've listened to the pre-released tracks already last week which we quite different to each other, but good in their own way. I've just listened to the opening track at near...

Re: Darkborn

Really nice idea but it looks janky as hell in first person in some of those later sections. Looks a lot like it could boil down Assassin's Creed style play where you just repeatedly hide in a bush, dragging guards in one by one while the unresponsive AI fails to pick up on anything.

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

Apparently the negotiations between May and Corbyn are on the verge of breaking down because May wants to know where Labour will compromise whilst completely refusing to change any of the Government deal herself. She really is the most inept PM we've ever had isn't she. If the EU refuse to grant a f...

Re: Playing Hard - Netflix documentary on making For Honor

Could potentially be quite interesting actually as the guy who lead the team seemed quite the character and the mechanics are fairly unique, not to mention it bombed spectacularly on launch due to mismanagement and has made a steady recovery since with lots of support from Ubisoft.

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

May to meet with Corbyn, further to the right Tory MPs completely going ballistic at the prospect, train lines having obstructions thrown on them with Pro Brexit slogans on, Farage threatening to 'fight' Westminster if a soft Brexit agenda is pushed. We are watching the slow disintegration of the co...
