Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

I wouldn't have made tonight anyway as I've had to stop away for work. Next two Thursdays we have Christmas parties too so that fills my schedule until new year!

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

Oh man I run like clockwork, and for me the morning shit (shortly after getting to the office and having some coffee) is one of the most enjoyable parts of my working day. The shit I have to deal with for the rest of it... ;) Likewise. Particularly satisfying because you're on the clock. I worked o...

Naturally this led me to look up other things that are Web connected. Wasn't long before I found the smart condom.
I doubt you'll get 15000 hours out of that.

Re: Currently Listening

I'm pretty late to the party with this band. But I've been delving into their whole catalogue lately after some of their tracks just seemed to click with me and now I can't stop listening to them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G9Qd_84YZs Funnily enough I actually saw them support Devin at Hammers...

Especially the way that the JL adverts are treated as some kind of major cultural event.
It's quite a nice summation of modern society that we actually treat it as one.

It has replaced the Coca Cola trucks advert as the starting gun for consumer season. "That's right, buy EVERYTHING, ya shits".

Re: The Room 102 thread - for things you love or just having a bloody good praise!

Pretty sure that 20c is generally the most comfortable room temperature to just potter around in, but bedroom temperature is supposedly better kept at 18c. I don't have a favourite season or temperature, by the time one is over I tend to be ready for the next change. I was ready for winter this year...

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

I've got something on with work this week which I don't currently have a time for, though it is likely to eat up two evenings. I think Thursday will likely be my only chance to get a session in.

Re: Xbox & Microsoft News/Discussion

The PS3 interface would have worked fine with an increased amount of apps. You could have custom subfolders for all your games and all the apps on the main bar or within additional folders.

It's not really a great deal different from the PS4 interface to be honest.

The 360 interface got worse every time they changed it.

Re: Switch & Nintendo News/Discussion

I picked Scorbunny too and find it cute enough that I kept him around even after the first evolution. I normally bench my starter when I start getting a good team together but I'm scraping around at the moment as I haven't done the first gym yet. This is the first time I've got my Pokedex to nearly ...

Re: Black Friday / Cyber Monday

I'm done with gadgets and big purchases for the foreseeable future I think. Nothing interests me whatsoever when it comes to new TVs or PC gear. Sure I could get a 27" 1440p IPS G-Sync screen and new PC components, but I haven't played some games that I've owned for five years yet and my PC is more ...

Re: Switch & Nintendo News/Discussion

Likewise, this is the first one for the main series I've put any real effort into since Ruby I think. I tried Moon and Black at one point but didn't really enjoy the 3DS as a handheld. Let's Go Eevee was a nice reintroduction and exclusively featured the original 150 so this has been a nice change u...

Re: Switch & Nintendo News/Discussion

Did anybody pick up the new Pokemon? It's more of the same really but it feels quite nice being able to play on the big screen for a change.
