Re: Switch & Nintendo News/Discussion
I read somewhere that he used to head up a big part of EA, hopefully this doesn't mean we'll be seeing Nintendo change their business ethics to fall in line with western publishers.

How anyone couldn't have seriously seen this coming I'll never know. It was obvious from the first glimpses of gameplay footage that this game would be pretty uninspiring.

Re: The Independent Group
I don't disagree with the idea of it in theory, but unfortunately a significant chunk of the Labour MPs that have quit are just Blairite stooges who have wanted Corbyn out since the day he was elected as party leader, so I have a lot of doubts about their motives with this. And regardless of how muc...

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Sage is primarily concerned with the pursuit of knowledge, so just being along for the ride and finding out more about the mine is pretty satisfying for him. Hindsight is 20/20 obviously, but can't help but feel we missed a trick not having a full rest before the encounter... A full rest is about 8 ...

Knowing our luck, Jeff will probably arrive right as we're leaving the cave carrying all the stuff we've looted. Hopefully Slythe will be able to talk our way out of it as per usual.

Pretty sure I have the same dice. Bought them off Amazon for pretty cheap and got each set in a nice little bag.
What time are we convening? I'm on my way back from working away at the mo and should be around for an 8pm start.

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit
Corbyn does have a position though and the EU spokespeople have already said they'd be open to discussing the possibilities of it with Labour if given the chance, that's a full customs union essentially equivalent to a Norway style deal. I was happy to see if the Tories would implode if left to thei...

Re: Civilization VI: Gathering Storm
Are the expansions independent of one another or do you need to own R&F for this to work? I'm really not keen on a lot of the stuff I heard about the first one but this second installment is getting a lot of praise from the Civ community so far.

I'm not sure context matters that much when you come out with bile like that. I've said my peace now, going to move on. Not that I think it's particularly reasonable or justifiable to say any of those comments he made, but to hold judgement over something without any appreciation or consideration f...

Re: Switch & Nintendo News/Discussion
9 is my favourite in the franchise. Tempted to get it on Switch too as it is the perfect screen size for it. I played through on PSP years ago but as cool as it was the screen was slightly too small.

Re: Modern gaming business practices
What is the context for those comments though? Was he just losing his rag and saying things out of anger directed at some lunatic he was arguing with?
