Re: D&D Interlude: The Vault of the Lady Fortune

I've been a dunce and accidentally double booked myself for something tomorrow thinking it was Friday. #-o

Can anyone do Friday as an alternative? Not sure how that will work for Bird.

Re: The Absolute State Of It - It's The UK Politics Thread!

According to some Conservative mouthpieces it's all apparently the fault of the future Labour government.

Re: Skull & Bones PC

No amount of delays are going to change the fact that the player feedback was that it's a badly designed game. Ten years in the making by the time it comes out and that's really the best they could come up with.

Re: The Absolute State Of It - It's The UK Politics Thread!

So in two working days the government have managed to devalue the pound with a crash harder than when we left an enormous trading bloc. That is rather impressive.

Re: The Absolute State Of It - It's The UK Politics Thread!

It's a nuanced debate because there are so many factors that connect to the tax bands. Like for instance, 50k is a decent wage in this country but even people earning that are going to be suffering from the outrageous cost of living crisis thanks to energy prices and general inflation. These people ...

Re: Ukraine

It seems that they're literally just grabbing entire villages of men from the streets in some places, no way are they all actual reservists. They will send so many barely trained and barely equipped troops into Ukraine during the peak of winter right into the sights of the more modern weapons. It'll...

Re: The Absolute State Of It - It's The UK Politics Thread!

It's quite remarkable how they just keep putting worse and worse people in charge isn't it. At least Johnson didn't have the balls to give in to the demands of his right wing nutjob MPs because he desperately wanted everyone to love him and had a chancellor who at least understood basic economics. T...

Re: D&D Interlude: The Vault of the Lady Fortune

There have been a couple of occasions where victory or outright disaster have been absolutely on the knife edge, particularly with these dragon encounters. For instance, if Gronk hadn't knocked him prone on his last turn then he would almost certainly have had enough movement to get about 80ft up in...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Ha, I thought HotD episode 3 was the weakest so far and RoP episode 3 was its strongest. Spoilers for both: The action scene at the end of HotD was just daft. Not Battle of Winterfell daft, but nonsensical all the same. I think there are ways they could have shown Daemon to be unhinged, fearless an...
