I have it but I’m not sure when I’ll get round to it though because I just bought MK11 too.

Awful PS2 era name.
It is bizarrely generic. I felt the same about Defence Grid: The Awakening, which turned out to be a bit of a gem.

Remnant: From the Ashes - new Soulslike

This one has come out of nowhere a bit (I'd never heard of it before), but judging by the comments on the review and on Steam this looks like being a bit of a sleeper hit: https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/remnant-from-the-ashes-review/#comment-jump https://store.steampowered.com/app/617290/Remnant_From_th...

Starbase Startopia - Startopia homage/remake set for 2020 release

A nod to the classic space station sim Startopia has been announced, and it looks much as Two Point Hospital was for Theme Hospital: https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/goofy-strategy-sim-spacebase-startopia-announced-for-late-next-year/ The launch trailer is... well, it's not that it's bad , more that it's ...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Added a spoiler tag to AE's post as I know there are some people here, like MM, who are looking forward to seeing this and presumably want to go in without plot spoilers.

Re: Currently Playing

Recently played through all the Monkey Island games with my daughters (they mostly watching but often offering suggestions as to what we should do) and had a whale of a time. Curse is under-rated, I think... it's probably the third best of the four original games, but the first two are masterpieces ...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Also, yay, season 3 GLOW on Netflix! :o Also also, watch GLOW! :x Yusss! Season 3 is just as superb as the first two. Also finished The Boys , which was as good as others have suggested. I love the dark humour. GLOW is a cracking show, I'm going to be really peeved if it falls victim to the Netflix...

Re: Epic Game Store - Epic's Steam Competitor

I must admit the review I read of it - which to be clear wasn't a negative review per se - did put me off a bit and go quickly from 'grr, curse this Epic exclusivity!' to 'meh, never mind' pretty quickly.

So if you had to choose between 5 and 9, guys, which one has the edge?
We can't have both? :o

I'm happy either way honestly, if there's a particular standout choice for one over the other then go with that :)

Anthem lead producer leaves Bioware after eight years:

Re: The H.P. Lovecraft Reading Club

This was quite interesting as a random find. That's pretty interesting, particularly, for me, the part about night terrors - something I experienced quite regularly in adolescence and even to this day on rare occasions. On one such occasion during an episode, I saw something very much like the 'nig...
