Re: The 'Look What the Postman Brought Me' Thread - Normal Edition

There were some amusing comments on the finale vid to the effect of it would be peak Egbert to have prepared the revivify spell that could have easily brought back [redacted], but to have then completely forgotten about it by the time it was needed

Good choice. I think Egbert was the best of the figures they made, plus he was responsible for my biggest laughs throughout. He was hysterical in the finale.
That whole combat section with the shape-changing mace just encapsulated his entire campaign

Clarkson's Farm, Series 3 Amazon Prime.

He IS a farmer now, this series is a brilliant insight into the life, from start to finish. Best thing Jezza has done EVER.
Yeah, we finished the series last night, great stuff once again.

Oh no! Awful news, at a loss what to say. Seemed like one of those genuinely nice guys we don't have nearly enough of in the world.

RIP mate

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom This is the first of the Jurassic World series I've seen. Are.... are they all this bad? I knew it didn't have a stellar reputation, but I really wasn't expecting something that had more in common with Sharknado than it did the original Jurassic Park film. It has abso...

Re: Aaand, In Other News...

This is another great watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak4on5uTaTg The most sarcastic half-hour I've seen since the Father Ted episode with the sarcastic priest. The section where he talks about the 'megaloop' having to repeatedly accelerate to mach 3 before coming to a complete stop 400 times...

Re: General Gaming News

Hopefully we'll start to see a bit of a rethink around suitable scale and budgets of games of certain genres, and rather than see things like immersive sims disappear we'll instead see proper labours of love being produced (ie not Redfall) by teams of an appropriate size using sustainable resources,...

Re: Currently Playing

I'm just hoping it gets a PC release sooner rather than later. I also finished a game I very much enjoyed over the weekend; Jedi Survivor . It's a better game than its predecessor, and extremely generous in terms of content (I think I clocked up about 55 hours in total, I'd hunted down 95% of the c...

Our little dachshund just turned three a couple of days ago, and I'm already preemptively bereft thinking about what it will be like when he's no longer around :(
