Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

As for the painting analogy it's not the same as the situation here as you are changing the piece of work itself by asking for something to be added in this way. You are asking the game to be balanced in a completely different way. No, I'm not. I'm specifically not asking that. What I'm suggesting ...

I respectfully disagree in every possible way.

We're never going to agree on this one.

Only one way to find out.

With games it would be a separate canvas, though.

Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Have to say I completely disagree. Not every game needs to be for everyone and games are an artistic expression as much as throwaway pieces of fun. With the solution I proposed, the original artistic vision still exists. Nothing changes that. If I paint a shitty version of the Mona Lisa in crayon, ...

Re: Trump

What a bar he's set as president by personally not colluding with a foreign power to influence the result of an election. The tagline for his next campaign should be Trump: Never murdered a child (as far as we know).

Re: Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

I don't think they're especially harder than many newer indie titles and many many classic retro titles though. For me it's not so much the difficulty as the fact that when you die, you have to go through 10-15 minutes of doing the same stuff over and over again on the basis that you'll get better ...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

On the basis that I have to be consistent, I don't support a second referendum. Why do you have to be consistent? Opinions change, needs change. One of our greatest traits as humans is our ability to adapt to changing situations, not to mention the ability to compromise. I didn’t support the first ...

Until he addresses the substantial security concerns, it's a moot point for me.

No. You really think she'd make any kind of sacrifice?
Yes, but only in the form of kicking people over the rails as she scrambles for the last boat.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

Last night's recap: As the 'Heroes' of Phandalin (AKA The Unmentionables; AKA The Bastards) brought a close to the terrible events surrounding the discovery of the Lost Mine, they began a new chapter of their own. Began, that is, by stealing blood for unknown nefarious purposes from the hanging body...

Cool, we’ll stick to 8! It’s handy for me as it gives me time to wind down after work and do any last minute game prep.

Yep, good to go at 8.

In future we can start at 7 if that works better?
