Re: The Elephant in the Room - Brexit

Conservatives refuse to release a report on Russian meddling in British politics until after the election.

Labour experience a sophisticated, large-scale cyber-attack during the election.

Better call Sherlock Holmes to link the clues in this one. :-k

Re: Hideo Kojima presents Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding, a Kojima Productions game by Hideo Kojima [PS4]

Yeah, it comes across to me as "America is too low-brow to get my work." Death Stranding (and Kojima's other stuff) holds no appeal for me, and from the little I have seen it strikes me as the gaming equivalent of Tracey Emin's unmade bed. If people get any meaningful insight from it, great, but it ...

Re: What's the most 'Value For Money' game you've ever played?

Baldur's Gate II. Got it when it was released (presumably around £30), but I couldn't begin to accurately estimate how many hours I've spent in it. Thousands, certainly. No other game comes close in terms of sheer hours played.

First Man

Thoroughly excellent, if exhausting. I can't remember the last time I was that tense throughout the majority of a film. Full credit to Ryan Gosling - Neil Armstrong was a difficult person, and his portrayal addresses that without making him an unsympathetic character.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

It says you can make yourself appear monstrous and terrifying in the dream, which suggests you can change your appearance and voice. I’d say that you can shape the content of the dream however you want, but the target would still be subject to the same persuasion, intimidation, etc, checks that they...

Did the quiz, clicked submit and it said it’s in maintenance mode. No result. This may not end well.

EDIT - No, it did not.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

Back in Neverwinter in the dead of night, the Unmentionables found the city under martial law and bolstered by the forces from Waterdeep who had been arriving over the past few days. With the city largely evacuated in preparation for the battle ahead, the party decided to do what any heroic, noble ...

Re: Brit Box

I could be tempted for some of the stuff from the 80s and 90s, but I've so many other things to watch that I've no real incentive to sway me. How the BBC have the balls to put their name to this when they already charge a silly amount for the TV licence is beyond me.
