Re: The Big Steam Bargains Thread

I never did get round to playing Total War: Warhammer, Well worth bagging, watching the battles play out is fucking awesome, all your tabletop battle fantasies come true. If you get 1 and 2, you get a mahoosive map with loads of possible factions albeit many sat behind a pay-wall as DLC. That said,...

Re: Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

Extended gameplay demo put out in response to "Disappointing pre-orders" off the back of the recent reveal.

Game looks dull as ditchwater, plus the whole restricted dismemberment thing riles me no end.

Moar ranting. - Phone-zombies. Shambling, vacant wanks that do to the pavement what 'road safety campaigners' have done to the roads. Cunts. - Road safety campaigners. We have this bunch of fucking coffin-dodgers near me who have a sign that tells you your speed as you drive past them. There is alwa...

I have tried audiobooks but I find that I don’t have the concentration to spare to listen to them while also driving.

Car drivers who do not indicate. Sorry fella but your assumption I can read your fucking mind is not right Oh man don't get me started. I have commuted long distances for work for over 23 years now, most of it on the M3. In that time I have become so consumed with rage at the state of people's abil...

Re: Planet Zoo [PC] - Autumn 2019

Jurassic world was exactly what you thought it would be tbh. Funnily enough, the biggest flaw in it was the whole 'Life finds a way' that has been part of the films since the first. Dinos escaping as the result of a tornado ripping open fencing, yeah OK I get that, but when you are constantly sendin...

Re: Kickstarters discoveries.

Am not sure I can make my post look to purdy, but have played a few fun ones of late that are definitely indie and may or may not be kickstarters :) Ape Out is good fun (and really hard). You are a gorilla that escapes captivity (from a large office, weirdly) and you have to get out. You are unarmed...

Re: Planet Zoo [PC] - Autumn 2019

Hmmm I am not sure I want another management sim from Frontier, this does look very close to Jurassic thingy.

Thing is, I am a sucker for these more chilled out games, and will probably jump in at some stage.

Re: Currently Playing

Deadbolt You’re Death and you have to fight zombie gangs, vampire gangs etc.. in a weird drug story. Really enjoying this. I guess you could call it a side on Hotline Miami that looks a bit Gunpointy in that it’s one hit deaths and fairly hard with near retry so you can keep hammering it if you kee...

I am with Wrathbone here, that RPS article felt like it was fishing for things to be offended about. The journo saw a short sequence and inferred a whole lot of stereotyping from it.

Re: Currently Playing

Yeah. I've actually never got further than about 15 hours into BL2 for some reason, probably because as you say, the characters and builds just aren't as good (for me, anyway) as the first game. I loved my Brick BL1 playthrough, just going full berserker and punching everything to death. Roland wit...

Re: E3 2019 - Press Conferences and News

The new Wildlands is fucking awful. I was on their recent beta, and seeing as they neglected to give me access to the forums to be able to post opinions, fuck their NDA and I will put them here. It's shit. How hard can it be Ubi? Wildlands was almost perfect for my tastes. A colossal map, spanning r...
