Re: Celebs are still dropping off....

A big shock for me today hearing that the great Niki Lauda is no more. The battles between Lauda and Hunt are my first F1 memories, although I think I was about 3 when I decided that I liked the red cars, much to my Dad's horror. A great talent and a funny, forthright and amazingly foul mouthed spea...

Re: Daily forum quiz thread

Some day Snowy we need to have a talk about your stellar performance every time we have a religion round  Both my parents were/are very religious C of E true believers. Funny tale for you - I had to go to church as a kid, but never really believed any of it. When I got to about 12 or 13 and wa...

Spoiler
How did they even know Danny was dead? Unless John decides to confess which he probably did because he’s turned into a useless shit
Nah, he's always been a useless shit.

Re: \m/ Metal \m/

It absolutely is, and Radio is my current favourite from it, helped no end by that video which I think is really clever.

Also it has a bit of a Du Hast vibe going on, and that's no bad thing.

It’s rare I reminisce positively about Dexter becoming a lumberjack.
Haha I was so close to writing this: "If you took the final Sopranos episode and multiplied it by The Wire's invented serial killer and the ending of Dexter, the result would stink less of shit".

Great minds my friend :)

Re: Game of Thrones S8 (Here be spoilers)

Watched it. Sorry it is finished, disappointed with how they played to fast and loose with one of the (until S5) best dramatisations that has ever been done on TV. Wondering if GRRM will write the final two in the series before the reaper calls, or just backflip off a towering wad of used notes ont...

Re: End of thrones prediction sweepstakes!

Blast I am late to the party. Ah well, even though it has been shown already, I have yet to acquire the last ep and certainly won't be reading any spoilers, I want the mild huff of disappointment to be pure when I see it... 1. Dany goes full remorse and fucks off back across the narrow sea 2. Jon be...

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

There is no denying that it has that element to it, but with the difficulty pushed all the way up and with minimum assistance (HUD options disabled for the most part) you get a game where you can die very quickly if you are not careful. My offer stands, anyone buys it can count on some co-op with yo...

Re: Currently Playing

Ouch. I upgraded my rig to Win10 a month or so back, and it was on sale at that point so I snaffled it. I had a look around and it is £30 via CD Keys, so still quite a lot although I would say that's a fair price (you do get a lot of game). RPS did a very nice review that shows the game better than ...

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

If you decide to spurt an additional tenner to bag it on PC, will be happy to team up for some missions and general co-op shenanigans. Always up for playing this.
