Re: Planet Zoo [PC] - Autumn 2019

Hmmm I am not sure I want another management sim from Frontier, this does look very close to Jurassic thingy.

Thing is, I am a sucker for these more chilled out games, and will probably jump in at some stage.

Re: Currently Playing

Deadbolt You’re Death and you have to fight zombie gangs, vampire gangs etc.. in a weird drug story. Really enjoying this. I guess you could call it a side on Hotline Miami that looks a bit Gunpointy in that it’s one hit deaths and fairly hard with near retry so you can keep hammering it if you kee...

I am with Wrathbone here, that RPS article felt like it was fishing for things to be offended about. The journo saw a short sequence and inferred a whole lot of stereotyping from it.

Re: Currently Playing

Yeah. I've actually never got further than about 15 hours into BL2 for some reason, probably because as you say, the characters and builds just aren't as good (for me, anyway) as the first game. I loved my Brick BL1 playthrough, just going full berserker and punching everything to death. Roland wit...

Re: E3 2019 - Press Conferences and News

The new Wildlands is fucking awful. I was on their recent beta, and seeing as they neglected to give me access to the forums to be able to post opinions, fuck their NDA and I will put them here. It's shit. How hard can it be Ubi? Wildlands was almost perfect for my tastes. A colossal map, spanning r...

Haha Sly I will let you in on a secret, I know absolutely jack about any US sports. Hockey, basketball, baseball, NFL, whatever. Zip. Occasionally I recognise a name so pick it, and am always delighted by any hits I get as a result :)

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

And the verdict on the new title is... fucking atrocious. Should be called Ghost Recon: The Division. They have taken the game, added in terrible mechanics like taking wounds that destroy your ability to move and aim, added in hunger and thirst meaning you are tasked with scavenging food and water, ...

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

I don't really have a view, it having been so long since I played anything adversarial, although racking my brain I can't think of any that I played in 3rd person back in the day. Like I say for me it is more that good co-op games, especially tactical shooters, are so rare that diluting them with a ...

Re: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

Give the versus a try too, it’s actually pretty competent. Do not do this. Actually I have no idea if it is any good or not, not being a fan of anything adversarial, for me it is purely principle. They made a fucking amazing co-op experience, and then just had to plug in PvP which instantly got all...

Re: Celebs are still dropping off....

A big shock for me today hearing that the great Niki Lauda is no more. The battles between Lauda and Hunt are my first F1 memories, although I think I was about 3 when I decided that I liked the red cars, much to my Dad's horror. A great talent and a funny, forthright and amazingly foul mouthed spea...

Some day Snowy we need to have a talk about your stellar performance every time we have a religion round  Both my parents were/are very religious C of E true believers. Funny tale for you - I had to go to church as a kid, but never really believed any of it. When I got to about 12 or 13 and wa...
