Re: Currently Playing

Outward. Righty I have been stuck into Outward a lot recently. Riding the highs and lows and rage inducing moments from it. It starts off well with a bit of character creation, you can't do much fine tuning but I think enough has been covered with it. Afterwards you find yourself on a beach with no...

Re: Google Stadia

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-06-27-dont-expect-games-to-be-cheaper-on-google-stadia It had been unclear whether these games would cost full-price on Stadia, given you're simply streaming them as opposed to buying a disc or downloading the game onto a hard-drive. But in a roundtable interv...

Re: The Big Steam Bargains Thread

Bought Star Crawlers a grid based rpg sci fi game. VR dungeon Knights and VR Battlezone. Will get to play them at some point and Outward the co-op RPG that I had my eyes on and has good enough reviews :)

Re: They are Billions - shambling out of EA on June 18th

The hero missions seem to be alright if let down with trying to pixel hunt for the most part. Be nice if the people you rescued turned up for the next mission you pick as a one off, unless they state how they are going elsewhere.

Re: They are Billions - shambling out of EA on June 18th

Got to 3rd mission tonight when streaming. Oh boy did I do some extremely bad fuckups on the first map till I got past it. Had a look at the research screen and they've added a crap ton of stuff to it so I can see why they say 60 hour campaign. I'm going to stick to mostly unlocking the buildings as...

Re: Alpha Protocol Remaster?

Ooh so Microsoft now owns it? Increases the chance of a sequel if Obsidian are keen. EDIT: Apparently that thing about the rights reverting to Obsidian might not be true, Eurogamer say that Sega have told them it is due to music license rights running out.
