Re: The 'Look What the Postman Brought Me' Thread - Normal Edition

That's the sort of thing I'd love to own. I can't say I'm a fan of Luke's helmet design, it's Poe Dameron's I'd go for given the choice, but I don't think I realised how vibrant the colours on it are. Do you have many hand props Tank? I'm having aspirations of starting a collection one day, but it's...

Re: YouTube channels

A few from my subscriptions: Cinema Wins - Not nearly as well known as the rhyming Cinema Sins, but frankly the relentless positivity makes this one more enjoyable for me. There are more intelligent film critique channels, but this one is regular, consistent and has made me want to watch films I'd h...

Re: Blizzard bans Pro Hong Kong protest esports player

Oh boy does this story keep going. Now US politicians, including ones major enough for me to have heard of them before (namely Marco Rubio of Florida as well as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a representative from New York who Trump recently told to go back to where she came from) are calling on Blizzard...

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

There were a few feats that fit Charr, notably the Flames of Phlegethos which sounds great... but the chances of me remembering to use the reroll are slim. I also considered delving into the Magic Initiate feats, but I already have enough cantrips and most of the first level spells would be replicat...

Re: The Outer Worlds - PC, PS4, X1, Switch 2019

I can't believe big games are still launching with facial animations and lip syncing that 2004's Half Life 2 would balk at. For all the colour and humour and "zaniness" the game is selling itself with, the shooting mechanics still look dull as ditchwater. It's a shame, as just about everything else ...

Perhaps you don't look through as many recipes as I do, but it's pretty common.

"I could care less".
That's the one I find most frustrating because it simply doesn't make sense.

I know a British person probably shouldn't be casting shade here, but I hate that Americans call vegetables "veggies". It just sounds so infantile.

I cannot possibly see how that could be a bad thing.

But he says "with regret" for just about every candidate these days.

I'm sure there was something missed out in the edit; it really doesn't make any sense that Pillowfactory wasn't brought into the boardroom.

Re: Aaand, In Other News...

I can't say I hate the Lana Del Rey song, though today was the first time I've ever heard it. It just seems kinda ridiculous to name one song as being the objective best from ten years, when there is no possible way that even a majority of people could ever agree.

Inability to control your subordinates has also been a fireable offence in previous years.

I wonder if the fact that he acknowledged his failing fairly quickly after they lost saved him; perhaps he does have some humility in him after all.

Re: The Apprentice 2019

I actually gasped when the PM let the fuckwit barrow-boy off the hook by not bringing him into the boardroom. So instead of the guy who holed their team below the water line with a stupid product they fired the guy who, yes, was negative but nothing he said was wrong. While I agree that the product...

Re: Disco Elysium - detective RPG out Oct 15th

So I decided the lack of ultrawide support wasn't enough to put me off, which is just as well as I've found myself staring at the right-hand quarter of the screen for 80% of my playtime and I don't have to twist my neck quite as far in 16:10. This really isn't my usual genre, but I have to say it gr...
