Re: Amazon unveils Luna, its cloud based gaming subscription service

Oh I'm not even remotely interested in paying for this myself, I just thought it was significant gaming news. I already get cloud streaming through Gamepass, and it's got a vastly better selection of games (not to mention that it uses the best gamepad on the market that I also happen to own).

Re: Trump

Well I'm fairly sure he was conceived in a test tube filled with Fanta, so I can understand his difficulty.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

Can I glue a Luck point to a Sorcery point allowing me to cast two spells with extra dice?

Incidentally I promise I'm only asking these questions in jest; I don't *actually* want to break your game.

Although if I did could I mend it with glue?

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

May god have mercy on us all. Truly, this is a can of worms that someone really ought to glue shut. Surely a contract isn't worth the paper it's written on until it's signed. I'm not sure that's really a bargaining chip given that surely she would have given it to us anyway seeing as she was asking...

Amazon unveils Luna, its cloud based gaming subscription service

Basically this is what Stadia ought to have been. The games selection mentioned isn't amazing, but at least you're getting them all thrown in, more akin to Gamepass than Google's offering.

Re: Xbox & Microsoft News/Discussion

I'd say it was actually pretty common for a USD value to equate to the same figure in GBP these days, in fact I was surprised when the consoles weren't priced in this manner. But yeah, expecting it to be much less than that would have been wishful thinking. Proprietary memory solutions for games con...

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

So, on the mechanics of mystical adhesion: If I've, say, glued two items that require attunement together, and D&D Beyond only allows you to attune to three items at once, are you ok with me swapping my attuned items out mid-battle to, say, cast fireball with my staff? Do I need to be holding the St...

Re: Serious Sam 4 Out August

Yeah... I've not played it but I've watched a video of the opening half hour. I didn't realise until the end that I wasn't watching a video of the previous game which came out in 2011 (in my defence it was Eurogamer's Late to the Party series that typically only looks at old titles). It's... remarka...

Re: Trump

It's alright Soli, we feel like our country is coming apart at the seams too. I'd argue that the US is in more immediate trouble than the UK, but there's at least a chance that the States could start to recover come January, whereas here our situation feels permanent.

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

I hope the new crop have a little more wits about them considering the particularly high risk times we're in. I think the story above is evidence that this isn't the case. Let's be honest, kids leaving home for the first time who've frequently had no real experience of fending for themselves are al...

I don't know, if they're the same as the miscreants *I* went to uni with, every surface of the house will be capable of transmitting the virus as I was the only fucker that ever washed anything after I'd used it.
