Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I'm sure that's why Game of Thrones did so well. It gave time for people to talk about the last episode over the water cooler without fear of finding someone who had binge watched it all in one go. Everyone was at the same episode (apart from latecomers).

Re: Star Trek: Picard

It does feel impressively made but weirdly I feel the worst actor in it is Patrick Stewart. I'm trying to convince myself that he's playing a weak sillt character until he suddenly 'finds' himself again but it's been 4 episodes now and he's getting worse. No spoilers but the last episode they went u...

Re: Escape from Tarkov

Since upgrading to Edge of Darkness edition I haven't received my bigger secure container. I got everything else just fine. I put in a support ticket and, finally, they got back to me saying I need to reset my account. In a quandary now. As I'm quite invested in my character and hideout. Is it worth...

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2 [PS4, XBone] - PC in November

Goyt it but still haven't settled into a routine to play it. Too much going on games wise :)

Have you seen that 'mod' that makes everything look like a miniature train set? Someone just filmed a town as the AI comings and goings went on?

Re: Humble Bundle (VR)

It was more of the same (which I thought was brilliant). It could do with slide movement rather than teleport but then teleport allows you to do clever things in the rooms.

Re: Escape from Tarkov

A friend from work has just got this so I'm sort of like the guiding parent for both my son and this other guy. We've done a few quests on Customs (where I died both times - but they both got out - I gave my life so they may live), we've also all learnt the rat way on Reserve. I also told him about ...

Humble Bundle (VR)

Just bought the latest Pc VR humble bundle and am now the owner of duplicate games. The humble bundle page itself says : Steam will not provide extra giftable copies of games you already own. But it will reveal Steam keys... so I assume if anyone wants any of these: SuperHotVR Gorn Budget Cuts Space...

Re: Escape from Tarkov

Watched the battlestate video blog yesterday. Nikita (is that his name?) said he was making a million rouble one off donation to every player. So fingers crossed we'll have that tonight... Just did the Jaegar quest myself (doing the prapor one at the same time) on woods without armour. I went in (po...

Re: Escape from Tarkov

Fun times again on Friday. Missed Saturday as was playing too much with my son. We've had some ups and downs as he's got used to the mechanics (and tiny stash with the standard edition). Taught him he ways of being a rat and he's back to looking a bit healthier ;) Reserve is now my rat run of choice...

Wear natural fibres? Take off your nylon socks?

I tend to get shocks off my car door as I get out.

Lords of Midnight, I could only win by cheesing it. Got as many armies as possible then retreated waaaay back and got everyone in the same castle and waited out the attacks

Re: Escape from Tarkov

Been hitting the Dorms on Custom for that chance on the keytool for the keys, even if I got another one you can sell that for over 650k in roubles alone. Is that in the marked room? Or somewhere else? I tend to scav the Dorms and wait to pick over what other people have left :) Maybe I need to go i...
