Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

When my whole online identity was being hacked last year, Amazon where the first ones to sort it out. I was surprised. Facebook are even shiitter as they have no paying customers as such and so can tell you to fuck off. Which they did. I lost all backed up photographic memories and posts for 20 odd ...

Re: General Gaming News

I'm one of those people that start things and never follow them up to get the best deals (I'm looking at you VirginMedia) but I'll be cancelling this after my October payment (as it's still the same price at the moment).

I'll be happy to buy anything that really takes my fancy.

Re: The gig thread

Nekrogoblikon was my take away from Bloodstock one year. Loved them and got all their albums. Not listened to them for ages. Must have a go at their newer stuff then.

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

I bought a 4k blu ray player a few years back (thanks to you guys) and then bought every film that I wanted to watch in 4k. That ended up being a surprisingly small number of disks. I still have those disks but ended up downloading them all via torrent and have them on a HDD with everything else tha...

Re: My Band (New Music!)

If this was a band on the new blood stage at Bloodstock, I'd have marked this as one to go out of way to listen to x

Great stuff.

As from a few minutes ago, being a three times granddad :) Makes me feel old.

I'll make up for it by going to Bloodstock tomorrow and trying to feel like a cool young person.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Sinners A tale set in (I assume 1920-1930s). Two brothers return to their home town and - well, that's where I struggle a bit. I thought they were back to reconcile and settle down but they're assholes. The acting is great, the setting is well realised, the cinematography is also great. The change ...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Superman I'm still trying to process this. It has everything I should love about a film. The actors are all brilliant. The visuals are cool and work. But... someone forgot to write a coherent story. The tonal shift is jarring. One minute it's childish (think minecraft movie) and in a major catastro...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Just watched the last Murderbot episode and whilst it kind of wrapped up, it left enough story to warrant a second season. Just read that season 2 has been green lit :)

Yes indeed. As long as it's not like Ready Player one. I didn't enjoy that one.
