Snowy messaged me on steam about this. Lotta water under the bridge and I've had a few German lagers earlier. The reason I left after 10ish years of posting on PW and TGA was the way the views I hold were being spoken about. Mantis, you mention here about my participation in the "elephant in the roo...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

Planning is one thing. A balanced fuckin view is another. That really depends on the purpose of the study. A balanced view is pointless for informing the government how much medicine to stockpile for example when the end scenario is still uncertain. Hope for the best, plan for the worst. Yeah and I...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

Fair enough except the assessment has also said that the 7 major UK banks are in a good position to weather the effects. Bearing in mind the PRIME reason we got hit so hard by the crash was unpreparedness of banks then it follows logically that we are better off now than then to weather a crisis. I ...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

I very much doubt that. Whys that? 1. Shitty deal from Europe with all manner of barriers 2. A government and establishment that didn't want this brexit in the first place. 3. Project Fear 2 4. Shitty deal breaks down in parliament on all sides with lashings more Project Hysteria on top in the mean...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

So the TV debate is a thing. For the edification of the masses who have no say in it afterward...

Can't help but feel this is all being engineered by Europe and Government to have a round 2 on the referendum and hope that project fear 2 has the effect of reversing the decision.

Re: Battlefield V [PC, PS4, XBone] - V is for Victory

Its my playstyle. I love flanking around the usual middle map meat shred points and get squads onto the fresh pastures of the enemies backyard :) get some anti tank mines down etc and shoot people in the back that are on those middle meat shred points.
