For a second I thought Nintendo had launched a twitch competitor with a brilliant name.

Re: Artifact [PC] - 28th October

You like Hearthstone? We got THREE Hearthstones!

The game phases sound interesting how they are talking about cards being more or less powerful in early/late game. We’ll see. Still think it’s daft not having a free base game.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

For me Hereditary is a collection of fantastic scenes but a poor movie. Blackkklansman One if Spike Lees best. Funny endearing and soul destroying. A couple of bits were a tad on the nose and heavy handed, like Duke starting an America first chant but on the whole it’s excellent. I need to look up t...

Re: Guacamelee! 2 [PC, PS4]

So far I’ve never had any problem with it, when I died it’s because my fingers get confuzled and mash the wrong buttons. I use the stick though, it doesn’t feel right on the dpad. Not sure if it’s this game of just the dpad because I haven’t played that many demanding playformers with it other than ...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

I tend to watch all the Marvel stuff but I’m completely cynical when it comes to most of them except Deadpool and Guardians. Both are great, Deadpool is best. American Animals Also caught this at Screen Unseen and thought it was really good. It balances the truth and entertainment perfectly. It’s fu...

Re: Switch & Nintendo News/Discussion

So the lack of any touch input is really quite disappointing but other than that it’s still a great little game.

Vita haxorz

You can now hack all fw of vita, it’s called H-encore and I’ve not looked into how easy it is or anything but for those of you that were interested there you go! :) I might just hack my primary one now, need to look into the risk of a ban even though I wouldn’t be pirating any official vita software...

Re: Guacamelee 2 - out tomorrow PSN/Steam

I’ve only played till a bit after frog splash because of some family stuff this week but I utterly love this game. The level design gives me such a grin when you see what they’ve come up with and it’s so satisfying when you nail the platforming. Part of me thinks I might like this series more than c...

Re: Currently Reading

After owning it for who knows how long I just started Masters Of Doom last night. The start isn’t great and I hate the way it refers to Carmack and Romero as “the gamers” constantly but the rest is really quite interesting. From Carmack experiments with thermite to how they coded Keen it’s almost al...

Re: Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft - Boomsday Project

I played a lot but I find it flat and a bit dull, that combined with the pricing just put me out. If their add on campaigns were around a fiver I’d have bought every one but current prices are for dafties for what you get out of it. I’m hoping Artifact can scratch my CCG itch because it is a genre I...

Re: Dark Souls Trilogy [PS4, XBone] - October 19th

I wish they’d do Demon Souls, at least on PS4. It’s the only one I didn’t get bored of before finishing.
