Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

So this game just came out in the last couple of days. Has anyone decided to venture in? I don't rate IGN, but i'm very tempted by this. I'm just wondering if it'll be like Dark Souls where i love the concept but don't have the time to master it appropriately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od5A36F...

Re: Guild Wars 2

Snowy, another friend of his and i seem to be making a loose routine of running fractals on a weekend morning - we've had a fun few runs the last couple of weekends - very relaxed on the whole! :D Few little bits of news and info: Super Adventure Box is back! If you never got to play Super Mario 64 ...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

Unbelievable arrogance. Brexit will determine the course of this country economic welfare for decades (until new treaties take effect) and this is bigger than any political party and especially any one person. So true, and yet nothing can be done to stop this masochism when the head of the snake is...

Re: Google Stadia

This is bloody amazing as a concept. Of course we have to see if they can pull it off, but you lot are sometimes too bloody cynical! Step 1 is assessing whether the technology can really meet consumer expectation, and they seem pretty confident at thinking that they can, and they probably have the r...

Re: Currently Playing

I've been dumping a good bit of time on the 2012 Tomb Raider game. I love it. I love the reinvention of the character, the moving away from stereotypical tropes, the loose but just enough to keep you going storyline, mechanics and stuff. I do feel stealth and approach could be slightly more open, bu...

Re: I dun a(nother) book!

I saw this post the other day - i've been totally remiss in congratulating you on the third book Sly! :D Alas, it shames me to say i still haven't finished book 2. I'm still fairly early in, but i think i picked it up when i had a bunch of other stuff on, and i've not really picked up a book since t...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

The EU doesn't want to waste time talking about Brexit politics for another two years. I just don't see how they can agree to any extension without some fallback guarantee. i.e. pledge to revoke article 50 completely and remain in the EU after six months if no agreement is found, or open up to a ref...

Re: Guild Wars 2

This week saw a bit of new content for GW2, with the launch of the Warclaw, the first wvw enabled mount, and bringing the total mounts up to seven, after the amazing beetle launch from last year! Fortunately it's very easy to get, IF you can get into wvw. it's very active at the moment given that ev...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I just finished Ash Vs Evil Dead season 1, having seen many of the comments on here. I have to say - didn't expect to enjoy, but very much into it! :D Also nice to see Bruce Campbell in it - he was a great character in Burn Notice, and i think there's something super entertaining about how he portra...

Re: Guild Wars 2

I already seem to be a part of a couple of guilds with a bunch of PW peeps, it shows me as a member of the burning hand and old school grumps or something like that. I'd be up for working towards doing some of the challenge raids as a group, never done any of them on this game clearly and I used to...

Re: Guild Wars 2

Hmm is it worth returning too though? I might try and find my username shenanigans again if we have people that could be interested in doing some of the instances. As I hardly got a chance to do that from people going back to wow here :( it depends what your concerns are. GW2 is very accessible - y...
