Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Watched the last episode of Season 2 of The Orville - absolutely loved it - soooo many references in there, and kinda fun what they did!

Really hope it gets renewed for Season 3.

Very disappointed that Santa Clarita Diet has been canned - that too was very fun!

Re: Game of Thrones S8

Watching Arya in a love scene felt really uuuuggghh - she is our little baby all grown up and....horny :-& Everyone is commenting on this. I agree, but to me it felt like it was MEANT to cause that reaction in people. And her delivery of the whole thing too. What she went through changed her, espec...

Me and the missus have been loving The Orville by the way mate, so thanks for that. So rare to find a show we're both enthusiastic about!

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I think i'd score each of those the same as you did, Achtung. I think Eve got a little... emotionally convoluted(?) by the end of the season, but it was a novel watch. Little Drummer Girl was an interesting watch, but it definitely lacked something. Perhaps heart? Or a character you could relate to?...

Re: XIII Remake [PC, PS4, Switch, XBone] - November 13th

The original was fun enough for a playthrough, but unremarkable.

What the world really needs is a new No One Lives Forever game.... oh that the IP weren't stuck in legal limbo....

Anyone else read Garth Ennis's books for The Boys? (illustrated by the great Darrick Robertson, who also was involved in Warren Ellis's Transmetropolitan which EVERYONE should read! /unrepentant comic pimping) New Trailer is out - looks moderately faithful to the source for now! https://www.youtube....

Re: The Travel Thread

Hong Kong is amazing if a bit expensive - we were there for 5 nights but could have used so more time. The architecture of the place just blew me away. In Malaysia we went to Kuala Lumpur which was nice but then onwards to Kuching and that was fantastic - that's the one I really want to go back to....
