Re: The Big Steam Bargains Thread

I would highly Recommend One Finger Death Punch 2 - especially if you liked the first! The first One Finger Death Punch game was (and still is) a thing of beauty. I was highly sceptical that a sequel could top or do justice to the game without just adding endless more story levels. But what do you k...

As long as we're doing this... Regulations.... specifically MIFID II, specifically Post Sale Cost Disclosures. Why am I not done with this crap yet??!!?!

Re: Good Laptop Battery use

When you work it out, let me know will you? My understanding, with older batteries at least, was that they dried up / crystallised if they weren't used / run down from time to time. For this reason, it was supposed to be better to run them down, at least infrequently, so this did not happen to...

Re: Currently Playing

yeah i can totally see that happening to be fair. I'm just waiting for it, but i only just got to stone level. I've also been dabbling with Moonlighter this week. Fairly typical roguelite, that mixes part night dungeon hunting with a risk reward factor (if you die you lose 90% of inventory loot) wit...

Re: Currently Playing

Minion Masters 1v1 or 2v2. It's a card based strategy game a bit like that Magic The Gathering one that came out a couple of years ago. Your mana bar charges on a consistent basis and you spend it by throwing out various costed cards which then march towards your opponents half of the map to attack...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Watched the last episode of Season 2 of The Orville - absolutely loved it - soooo many references in there, and kinda fun what they did!

Really hope it gets renewed for Season 3.

Very disappointed that Santa Clarita Diet has been canned - that too was very fun!

Re: Game of Thrones S8

Watching Arya in a love scene felt really uuuuggghh - she is our little baby all grown up and....horny :-& Everyone is commenting on this. I agree, but to me it felt like it was MEANT to cause that reaction in people. And her delivery of the whole thing too. What she went through changed her, espec...

Me and the missus have been loving The Orville by the way mate, so thanks for that. So rare to find a show we're both enthusiastic about!
All I'm going to say is.... Ja'Lojaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

That episode had me dying. But the whole of season 2 so far is fantastic!

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I think i'd score each of those the same as you did, Achtung. I think Eve got a little... emotionally convoluted(?) by the end of the season, but it was a novel watch. Little Drummer Girl was an interesting watch, but it definitely lacked something. Perhaps heart? Or a character you could relate to?...

Re: XIII Remake [PC, PS4, Switch, XBone] - November 13th

The original was fun enough for a playthrough, but unremarkable.

What the world really needs is a new No One Lives Forever game.... oh that the IP weren't stuck in legal limbo....

Anyone else read Garth Ennis's books for The Boys? (illustrated by the great Darrick Robertson, who also was involved in Warren Ellis's Transmetropolitan which EVERYONE should read! /unrepentant comic pimping) New Trailer is out - looks moderately faithful to the source for now! https://www.youtube....
