Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

The general population probably now have a better understanding of how a RBMK reactor works than they do a kettle.

One thing's for sure; this will definitely have an A-list celebrity whose in-game emoting will be vastly superior to their real-life performances.

Re: E3 2019 - Press Conferences and News

It does look pretty good, though I'm a bit concerned that a spider can take four smacks to the face with a lightsaber and still be going; I hope gets fixed.

Re: Google Stadia

Fair enough, but I'd be surprised if Stadia didn't do the same. They haven't even launched yet, so they're not going to start talking about what happens if they fail.

Re: Google Stadia

Am I the only one who thinks this all sounds fine? 3 hours a night for five days a week sounds like a very decent amount of gaming and I doubt this is really aimed at the super-hardcore gaming market. Sure, the segment that likes to play games a lot, but I mean, there's a tier above that who want to...

Re: Podcasts

I've just finished The Butterfly Effect and whilst it's certainly interesting and there's some good stuff in there, I think it goes way too far in trying to ascribe the changes to the porn industry so singularly to Pornhub and particularly the effect it had on some porn producers. Is Pornhub a fanta...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 [PC, PS4, XBone]

As much as I want to play this, I'd much rather wait until it's actually ready to play so I can live with this. I just hope it's early 2020 rather than late 2020 when it finally comes out.

Re: Star Trek: Picard

I expect this to be just as pungent a turd as Discovery. I'll watch the pilot and second episode when they land, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Re: Document your Documentary viewing.

Do you mean Behind the Curve? If it's the one on Netflix, yeah I thought that was quite interesting. Those people are all completely bonkers. I'll put a second vote behind Fyre as well. It was like watching a car crash; I had no sympathy for any people who appeared in that documentary - from the mai...

Re: Game of Thrones S8 (Here be spoilers)

I almost feel like that sat down with GRRM Martin and asked him where the story was going and he sketched out the broader plot points and they've just translated that and only that into screenplays. It me! I knew I'd seen it somewhere! In fairness I've been reading quite a few comment threads...

Yeah, I also thought that was a bit of a jump but they could claim it's her sneaky assassin ways.
