I should not be laughing that much at scenes of such horror.
Then for your sake, I'm glad YouTube blocked the "Guile's Theme Goes With Everything" synched perfectly for the bombing scene in BBC's Hiroshima docudrama.

Is that the one with a load of crap over the screen that stops you seeing about a 1/4 total of it?

Only mod I ever tried was the one that clears the screen up. I refused to go any further without it.

Re: The Apprentice 2018

Oh for the love of god what a drivelling shower of cunts. Glad that botox-bloated tit got the boot first, her fishlips were giving me the fear throughout, looked like a resident of Innsmouth (right HPL fans?)! Where do they scrape up the contestants from? Oh, and who sniggered at Mrs "I am in the n...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Bojack Horseman season 1 & 2 Excellent. At first it all a bit weird but when you get used to the idea of the anthropomorphism and watch it for the storylines it really picks up, especially in S2. I will continue to watch this but before I start with S3 I want to do another comedy first 8/10 Good ma...

Re: Baldur's gate 3 coming

Sometimes never is better. Aye. Will see what is being done with it but after all the big disappointments lately of trying to recapture the past, really not holding my breath. I meant "better playing BG1 and 2 late than never" - what with the "well this was big in The Day and there's a reboot so I ...

Re: Total War: WARHAMMER 2: Curse of the Vampire Coast

Er, to clarify, I meant "is what came out as WTW what you'd expect more from the DoW people than from a CA-made TW game", if there was any doubt - which from my own re-reading, there may be. I wasn't saying to expect a "true" TW Warhammer game from the DoW people.

Re: Total War: WARHAMMER 2: Curse of the Vampire Coast

That was the biggest turn-off for me Gibby, but a close second were the hero characters. One of the big draws for me in a TW game is the strategic battles, and I am afraid that battles where one or two almighty shitkickers determine the course of the entire fight just tore a lot of the strategy fro...

As for the topic of the thread, I finished The Cruel Seas the other day. What a magnificent book it was. Thanks to The Jackal for the recommendation!
Good enough for me - bought.
