Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

I have literally never felt that way. Takes me ages to get going in the morning, never want to wake up, and I don't ever feel well-rested, no matter how much or how little sleep I get. Rubbish.

Re: High Streets Woes - part II

Ours closed down relatively recently (I don't remember exactly when), and I'd assumed that meant they'd all gone bump. The prices in there are insane, I'm not surprised they weren't making any money. Also, the unit they were in for the Oxford store was massive – the rent must have been astronomical.

Actually, the underwear were stolen by a Kurdish spy before the attack, to confirm it was him before Team America stepped in and starting blasting.

Woo, my hill is less lonely ;)

Terminator Dark Fate
Some good, some awful rubbish. I liked how they sidestepped using Furlong -_- I think I prefer T3 as a sequel to T2 but then I don’t really rate anything after 1.
You don't like T2?! Get outta here.

Methinks you protest too much!

Star Wars was rescued from utter awfulness on the editing floor. It's not deep and clever, it's Lucas' pet project.

That's why when on Windows, I press it at least 3 times, to make sure it's paying attention.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2 [PS4, XBone] - PC in November

its a good thing we do not have data caps in the UK. In the US where data caps is a thing, this must be a nightmare to manage. For a country that prides itself on competition, their internet is run by only a few corporate giants. Well, my friend in the US has a 980Mbit connection whereas the best I...

It's just a Bluetooth accessory, so I don't see why it wouldn't support more than one.

I'm always happy to be told I've got a parcel coming through DPD. They give you a delivery estimate window, they tell you what number you are on the driver's run sheet, and tell you what number they're currently on. Really transparent, and they're really good at hitting their estimates. Great stuff!

Re: Amazon Prime Video Streaming Quality

I've seen the shitty-quality-then-ramp-up thing, but it's usually only for a few seconds right at the start. If I'm lucky, it's during the forced ad for some other Amazon show. I'm watching on an Apple TV. I threw out my Fire stick because it was fucking useless. Every time I wanted to watch somethi...

Believe me, you notice it when it's not there. At least initially.

I don't know if I drink so much that I only ever have a caffeine low, but I've also never had a hit from drinking coffee or other caffeinated drinks.
