The match making these days really favours the lower tiers, tier 3 and 4 (where you get the battleships) is alot more comfortable, you can only be matched with one tier higher then yourself. Tier 6 and 8 are generally considered the killers.

4K is really hard to pull of at a decent frame rate so it's not surprising really, especially considering the price of the high end cards these days. Unless you hit the £600+ ti or titan cards its not really doable. 1440p is the sweet spot.
