I decided t to try it out in VR and really enjoyed it to be honest, even bearing in mind the irritating HUD. It's certainly an ideal title for enjoying VR levels of immersion (not as good as DCS though). I'll try applying the fix and see if that improves it further.

Whilst it may be inferior at the minute, I think people need to take into account the fact that it has been around for mere weeks whilst Steam has fifteen years plus of progress on it. Remember how god awful Steam was when it first launched and how many years it took to iron out some basic features...

Well I'm just replaying bioshock 2 so subnautica would make an ideal gaming progression with or without the VR . Because they're both underwater, you see.
