Re: Xbox Game Pass for PC

I've got to say I've had no issues with this at alll, perhaps I've been very lucky. I'm not sure how I feel about it though - I find myself less commited to games when I know I haven't 'Paid' for them and discarding them much quicker than I perhaps would normally. These are strange times we are livi...

Re: The F1 thread

Gravel traps are certainly the best deterrent for F1 cars, but I think the argument against them is that they're worse for motorbike riders. Kerbs are at least less permanent than massive gravel traps (although I think the removeable ones aren't very common - most ones I can recall seeing have been...

Re: The Room 101 thread - for things you hate or just having a bloody good moan

Whilst we're doing this. Brexiters, Leavers, whatever the fuck they're called. I'd like to sit down with a bunch of them in a locked room and take a baseball bat to each on of the ignorant cunts. As I would do that I would explain how I'm about to launch into a 4 month project to change in app messa...

Subscriptions. Subscriptions everywhere! Something as simple as you want a word processor on IOS? How about you pay £5 a month instead of offering a simple buy option. What are you paying for? Fuck knows because most use icloud and dropbox for backups so I guess youre paying £60 a year for patches?...

Re: RAGE 2 [PC, PS4, XBone] - May 14th 2019

This does look interesting - I recently played BL2 a bit and was bored stiff - this does look like it has more fun gunplay wise which is an area where I think BL really fails in hindsight.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

I'm going this weekend and I hope it is better than the mess that was Infinity War. I rewatched it recently and found it a little better on the second viewing but there's just so many super heroes - they're everywhere. I also get annoyed at how they're all equally super. Hulk would marmelise Captai...

I feel like I've just watched a trailer for Borderlands all over again.

Might be ridiculous fun though.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Avengers: Endgame All I want to say for now is HOLY FUCK, what a fantastic end to the first 11 years of the MCU. I couldn’t have wished for more. The best MCU film, and those who are aware of how much I love the MCU know I wouldn’t say that lightly. 10/10 Surely that makes you opinion highly unreli...

Re: The Travel Thread

Just got back from a trip to Malaysia, Borneo, Hong Kong and Dubai. I'm holidayed out. Did you enjoy Hong Kong? I really wanna go there. My girlfriend and I are thinking of going this autumn, possibly combined with some time in Vietnam. Also: Dubrovnik. Good? Taking the GF there for her birthday. H...

Re: Let's Play... XCOM 2 (War of the Chosen)!

So, I've been getting the itch to play something turn based and despite getting through 3/4 of the game in the past I deceided on a restart as it's been close to a year since I last played. I can remember how disapointed in Xcom 2 was after loving the first the first time round - it just seems to la...

Re: Fallout 76

I'm more interested in the (god i hate it) GDPR content in this thread than anything I'm finding out about Fallout 76! And damn our IT Director and his ideas for managing marketing preferences. It's fucking easy to store in ONE table but noooo..... let's fragment that shit and make data management ...

Re: Fallout 76

I witnessed a GDPR horror story earlier in the year. Let's just say that if, for example, you wanted to delete all of an individual's data upon request and the code ended up deleting all data for ALL individuals in the database, that would be bad. Yikes! We're still doing work on GDPR to dele...

For celebratory purposes.
Bought a bottle of this for my father in law two years ago, it is sublime.
Oooooh nice! I've tried the 7.1 (I think it was) really really good stuff.
