Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange

He's his own spitting image puppet. To be clear when I say this, I don't mean looks, obviously it's easy to pick on that. But I was a teen in the 80's watching Spitting Image and some of the mad shit they had Reagan spouting doesn't hold a candle to the stuff Trump is coming up with on a daily basis.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

PS.

Oh and the sound was so good, I was on a flight back from Singapore and put my Sony XM3's in just to listen to it instead of the dodgy provided headphones.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Would you care to elaborate on that? I thought it was probably the best live-action superhero film. Dripping with atmosphere and with great performances from everyone involved. I really think I would have trouble articulating myself; I struggle to put it into words. But, it was one of the most disa...

Re: General TV News

Has anyone been watching Scavenger Reign on Netflix? It's a transfer after flopping on HBO Max and hands down one of the better Sci Fi animations I've seen in a very long time. Stylistically it reminds me of Moebius and some of the way out there alien artwork of the 70's. Well worth a watch. https:/...

Re: Loss less v 320Kbps v 128Kbps. Take the test

I think arqueturus you are in the minority which is great. If you can afford it and its important to you, why not. The Gizmodo article was interesting. Streaming over Bluetooth really downgrades the quality because the data gets compressed. I listen to music 2 ways - on my phone to my wireless head...

Re: Loss less v 320Kbps v 128Kbps. Take the test

I considered making the jump to Tidal when I treated myself to some new Hi-Fi stuff a year ago including a Cambridge Audio Network player. I had a month trial so was able to play the Hi-Fi Quality Tidal source (same as CD so 44.1kHz so not technically lossless I think?) against whatever the high qua...

Re: General Film News

Well, it gets my vote based on the fact that it's featuring one of my favourite ELO tunes of all time. Aside from that, it clearly takes GofG as a blueprint, nothing in there looks terrible except Kevin Hart being miscast imo as Roland? Roland was a fairly serious fellow. JLC as Tanis is a great ide...

Re: The For Sale, Swapping and Giveaway Thread

Would anyone be interested in an Asus Geforce RTX 3060ti? £225 + p and p

It's a year old and manages 1440p decently (my monitor res hence the upgrade) but would really shine at 1080p.

I'm replacing it but haven't done the swap out as yet, I thought I'd ask here before going to Ebay.

Jira.

That's it. That's the whole post.
110% but in particular, the test sessions, absolute shit and a low bar even for Jira.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Rebel Moon, Part I As a counterpoint to Todd's review, I thought it was terrible. It's shamelessly stolen from a tonne of sources (Star Wars and the Seven Samurai along with a massive dose of Warhammer 40K) and nothing makes any kind of sense at all, I spent so much of the film watching loose scene...
