Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

It's easy to demand a general election when you know there's no possibility of it happening. Yes, I do want him to stake out a position. Whether that's a second referendum, supporting May's deal, or supporting no-deal at least stand for something. At the moment the Labour party is worse than UKIP fo...

Re: Apex Legends [PC, PS4, XBone] - Respawn's F2P BR

I wasn't sold on the style at first, but I'm quite enjoying it now and it's a refreshingly different game to PUBG.

I'm still just as shit at both though.¬_¬

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

Actually put forward a position on Brexit. Preferably one grounded in reality rather than "we'll get a better deal" which is just nonsense. Just admit that the whole thing has been handled abysmally by the current government and in the current circumstance our best option right now is to revoke arti...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

It's not like they haven't been trying to change things, but ultimately they've had no success at all and Corbyn seemingly refuses to actually get off his arse and do anything. As they said at the press conference, it doesn't change the parliamentary arithmetic regarding Brexit - they're still vehem...

Re: Modern gaming business practices

I've never seen this guy before, but just watching the first few minutes of that video was painful enough. The dipshit doesn't seem to know the difference between revenue and profit.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

I think for me it was partly just too unbelievable. After all that happens it's basically "ah well, just carry on".

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

I agree with you on Gone Girl. I was quite enjoying it until the last half hour and then it just went stupid. Complete waste of a film in the end for me.

Re: Switch & Nintendo News/Discussion

I hope not, just because I have no money to spare at all at the moment as I'm throwing pretty much every penny I have at a kitchen renovation.

Come on Nintendo, don't annoy me; delay! Delay! ¬_¬

Re: The 'I Just Bought' Thread - Technology Edition

:D And to think I actually moved out of shot anything I thought might be incriminating. I hadn't thought the tissues would be. I'm more sophisticated than that; there's a towel out of shot down to the right. :D The tissues are actually because I'm allergic to pretty much everything in life, particul...

Re: Avengers 4 Endgame

I think their huge inter-woven story is 80% of the problem with them. Like Age of Ultron - it was a horrific under-utilisation of James Spader, who is exceptionally charismatic and a brilliant screen presence even when it's just his voice, but by having so many "main" characters needing some screen ...

Re: Avengers 4 Endgame

I feel similarly to Maturin. The early rebirth of the super hero films were fantastic, and although the Raimi Spiderman films probably don't hold up over time as much as Batman Begins, they were a very fresh take on the genre when they landed and they did it well. Of all the Marvel films, I think th...

Re: Cuppa tea love?

I'm a big lover of tea. Currently I'm enjoying a lot of the T2 varieties, particularly Melbourne Breakfast, French Earl Grey, and Assam. I dislike fruit teas for the most part; they always spell nice but just taste of hot water - I totally understand when you say you find it frustrating. I do love t...
