Re: Windows 11
I don’t know the answer, but assuming it’ll only do an in-place upgrade, you could clone the old drive to the blank one and upgrade that.

Re: US Congressional hearing on UAPs
I cannot get on board with the theory that there's some supreme beings with incredible technology, but they just can't seem to crack autopilot or crash-avoidance systems. What, our puny missiles can bring inter-dimensional or sea-faring beings down? Also, the careful wording like "non-human biologic...

Teams is honestly the worst piece of software I've ever had to use, you have my condolences.

Re: Aaand, In Other News...
The question I'm wondering is did someone legitimately tell them this tall tale, or did they make it up for… reasons?! Or perhaps they misunderstood what someone had said (some people could have come home with kidney infections and low function).

Re: Currently Playing
I've not seen anyone mention Starship Troopers: Extermination anywhere yet. It's in early access, and is somewhere in the region of a wave defence/base building/FPS. Very unoptimised at present, but playable with a small squad of your mates (4 per squad IIRC, though the whole team is quite big) so l...

I just can't get invested in a story that will almost certainly have no ending.

Re: Aaand, In Other News...
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. That's a little harsh don't you think. How so? They paid some sketchy fuck an obscene amount of money to ride his terrifying cobbled-together death trap. It was inevitable. Yes, loss of life is always sad, but it's like if someone died doing 400mph on a public ...

Re: General TV News
I know it's something they would have preferred not to have to do, but despite appreciating the gag element of it, I have to say I think Solar Opposites' attempt to replace Roiland is... not good. That is a weird choice. Hoping R&M go down the soundalike route instead... I'd have expected the "haha...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
It's definitely enjoy the art not the artist these days. Yeah, but I have no choice but to draw the line at Ian Watkins' of Lostprophets. The songs capture a particular time for me and I'd love to have a good nostalgia listen, but I just can't shake the ICK hearing him sing about love and stuff. Sc...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series
On the last bit, I disagree. There’s a voice actor guy who does such a good version that Roiland himself said it was scarily close. But also, given the nature of the show they could easily have the voice change explained in-universe or just go meta like Iron Man did when Rhodey changed actor and sai...

Brilliant.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
Shit, thanks for the heads-up, I had no idea! Would have been a good idea to put "part 1" in the title, not sure where it was announced but I've not seen that anywhere.
