Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

Forgot to say you all level up too! Excellent. And it was nice to see that our predisposition towards ungodly chaos remains intact  Would it be too much ungodly chaos if I suggested we play out this whole hellish contract with Neverember arc to see how much more influence and power we can expl...

Re: Xbox & Microsoft News/Discussion

Those wanting to upgrade their storage are looking at £220 for a 1TB SSD. Ouch.

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

I'll never forget one of my former uni housemates prepping raw chicken on the kitchen surface before walking off with no intention of cleaning it, and when challenged straight up said "I don't really care about hygiene." Suffice to say it was an unpleasant year, I hope the new crop have a little mor...

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

Johnson's speech tonight was nothing short of shameful. Posturing like he's some great statesmen whilst taking no responsibility for the government's absolute cock up over the last six months and blaming the resurgence of the virus on the public. They spent three months telling everyone to go to the...

Re: Microsoft to buy Bethesda/Zenimax

The new one probably will.

I don't think this will necessarily prevent them from releasing titles on Playstation either. Maybe timed exclusivity on lots of it.

Re: Playstation & Sony News/Discussion

I'm sure the PS1/2/3 classics on the digital store will still be available to play on PS5, it's just that for PS4 games you also have the option of putting your old discs in. I don't really care about backwards compatibility much anymore, it was something I used to think was quite important but inva...

Re: Playstation & Sony News/Discussion

The impression I got was that it's included for any PS Plus subscribers simply as an extra little freebie.

Re: Playstation & Sony News/Discussion

The extra PS Plus titles available on launch is a nice touch but doesn't really compare with Game Pass. I'm not sure Sony really has the clout to offer such a huge value service like Game Pass though. I didn't catch many details due to work though, are these PS Plus titles going to run at enhanced f...

Gaming news resources

I'm compiling a list of news sites for a little project and was just looking for some suggestions for other good sources for gaming news/reviews. Aside from the obvious places like Eurogamer, RPS, IGN etc, are there any other good (maybe less well known) sites that people frequent and would recommen...

I'm sure the driver got off lightly as he was only breaking the law in a very limited and specific way.

Re: Time for a PC Upgrade

I've always used the top fans facing outwards too. If you can get a case with underside fan slots then it just feels more balanced to have air flow in front/underside and out back/top.

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

Anecdotally I've heard that staff are generally so rushed off their feet due to reductions in shifts that they don't really have the time to properly clean up between groups either, so just because a table has been hastily wiped with a wet cloth by no means is it going to guarantee to stop the virus...
