Re: Arty Antics and Similar Stuff

The figure looks digital but the background genuinely looks like paint. Amazing.

Re: VR!

I bought one too totally based on a Tested review on YouTube. I've got the Vive, the Index and the Quest 2 all sitting there gathering dust but decided I still needed another headset anyway :) Having not used VR for months I couldn't see the initial difference as I seem to remember it beinbg good an...

Re: Forza Motorsport - on Gamepass from 10th Oct

My wheel and pedals are gathering dust in my spare room (since lockdown really) so maybe it's time to keep Gamepass and try it out.

Re: General Gaming News

I hope the whole game is better. That's almost like an on rails arcade game. No strategy at all. Just walk (slowly) and shoot people.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Totally Killer Another one of those 'just browsing Amazon and clicking stuff'. It's a sort of Scream + Back to the Future + random 80's film mishmash. I think I quite liked it. Funny in places, weird in others. People actually die, although in rather poor cgi form. Again, the big reveal of the kill...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

The trailer makes The Creator look fab but like you said the actual plot/story is sub par.
Still want to watch it though.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

No one lives No idea why I bothered watching this. I think I was just scrolling through Amazon prime movies. Anyhoo - Luke Evans is a pyscho. He gets kidnapped by more pychos who then all try to out pyscho each other. The gore is over the top (in a good way) and masks the paper-thin plot. I honestl...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Scream VI I don't think I've watched any of the other of this franchise apart from the first one. It was OK, mainly thanks to Jenna Ortega (she's just sooo cute). For a film that is meta about horror films they do so many things that make me shout at the screen "why did you do that?". The ending wa...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 [PC, PS4, XBone] - out September 17 2020

I'm really trying to drink it all in on this third or fourth playthrough. It's just so much more immersive than Starfield. I keep firing Starfield up though as I quite like just going to planets with abundant lifeforms and murdering them all for that sweet, sweet xp.

Time to stop playing Starfield and get into Cyberpunk again.

Re: SpaceBourne 2

Put plenty of hours into this (I just checked 41 hours!). It's very janky but playable. I think I managed to get a super upgraded ship and pwned everything. Same with ground combat. I think I sort of gave up on it when it came to system building/takeovers. It was just too much grind and obfuscated. ...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I've also come to realise that light sabre duels are just jank. I'm watching the two protagonists and thinking "just slide the 'blade' down", you'll cut their fingers off, easy. "Stop spinning" you're showing your back to the enemy. "Use your force push and pull more" you'll eventually knock them of...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Also just watched 1 and 2 last night. Although that's not how the film works if definitely should have been about righting lots of wrongs in the world rather than revenge.
I thought the idea of him driving an Uber or Lyft and listening out for red flags was great.
