Re: Keyboard Recommendations

I've been using Logitech G series keyboards for about 15 years... can't really see myself changing. I think my G15 is on its last legs, and I can't really find anything in the market that makes me think i'd be happy to let it go...

Basically, my perfect space game is Freelancer. Why can't there be more games like that, or a remaster?
I heard that Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is about the closest thing to Freelancer that's out there. I also want a spiritual successor to it - maybe I need to give it a go sometime...

Re: Currently Playing

As well as Grim Dawn (which seems pretty fun in the hour or so I spent with it earlier) The ONLY thing that bugs me about Grim Dawn is that sometimes it's a little overstatedly dark and brooding. I always liked Titan Quest's open skies and greek landscapes, and even immortal throne managed to keep ...

Re: Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker - the last film in the saga

I don't really want to say anything and preset people's expectations. Let's say I went in with low expectations and survived the experience. I mean I go and watch films like these for the spectacle and the effects and the experience on the BIG screen - if the story is great that's just an added bonu...

Re: Steam News & Updates

Not seeing that much different to the sale the other week, with the discounts on my wishlisted items not being compelling enough to jump onto. However, I've shelled out a princely £4 on Grim Dawn , a game I've been umming and ahhing over for about two years now. That's the cheapest I've seen it (80...

Re: Currently Playing

Thanks for the heads up, I've been looking forward to this (though I'm still tempted to leave it until Early Access is over with). I adore the lavish visuals and particularly the soundtracks that Supergiant games have, but I've never really gotten on with the gameplay of a game since Bastion, and H...

Re: Currently Playing

Been playing a bit of Hades in recent days, now that it's out on Steam. It's a beautifully crafted and super easy to pick up rogue like that just changes up every game through item drop randomisation. The artwork and sound and gameplay are all really great, and draw you in for a little more each tim...

Re: The Travel Thread

Yeah... Venice is beautiful, if only you could see over the thronging crowds and the vast commercialisation....

When I went a couple of years back it was fairly flooded too, with everyone walking on gangplanks to get from a to b. Florence sounds like where I should have gone!

Re: Guild Wars 2

It's the last week to unlock the current living story chapter for your account, if you have one. This chapter was a really pleasant change from previous ones - much more Charr community activity based with lots of lore building on the Charr - I do recommend you give it a go if you haven't. The trail...
