Re: Currently Playing

One thing I really appreciated about Halo 3 was you could dispose of some of the mini bosses in seconds if you had the right gear. Brute commanders and Hunters could be spattered across the wall if you managed to grab a grav hammer, otherwise they'd just soak up all your ammo.

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Extraction 2 Was surprised at how much I enjoyed the first film which is a solid action flick with great gun fights. The follow up is pretty much the same thing but stands out for an utterly fucking insane 20 minute continuous action sequence that has to be seen to be believed. It's basically a Cal...

Re: Currently Playing

I played Infinite when it first came out and was enjoying it for the most part until I got to that boss fight with the brute in the confined area. Took me 20+ frustration filled attempts to beat him. I put several more days in and cleared out bases and rescued marines and completed multiple missions...

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Rick & Morty season 6 Now up on Netflix. It's not everyone's cup of tea and the fan base have a reputation of being complete cockholes but I do really love it. I'd only watched season 5 once over a year ago so I remembered next to nothing, this was like getting 2 seasons for the price of one! What ...

Re: General Gaming News

Didn't help that the previous game had one of the best villains ever and 3 had the most mediocre.

Re: General Gaming News

I've replayed BL and BL2 multiple times but only ever played 3 the once and never had the urge to try it again.

What? Tim Curry had a stroke? Oh noes.
Yeah he's in a pretty bad way for a few years now.

Brandon Cronenberg's Possessor is nuts, especially the uncut version which is fucking gruesome in places. Well worth a watch though.

All the rain fell here at about 5am, was pretty spectacular. Can already tell it's going to be a muggy, humid bastard of a day once it heats up.

Re: Star Wars: Outlaws

That looks like it could be fun. It's great see someone other than EA make a Star Wars game, unfortunately it's Ubisoft so who knows what kind of a hot mess it'll turn out to be. It had every possible Star Wars troupe they could cram in but such is the nature of the franchise. Would love to see a Wi...

Re: Starfield has a release date

30fps on console is disappointing to say the least. No doubt someone will mod that in time. Combat presentation video.. https://youtu.be/wULK6cTtJ94 Looks much better than in the launch videos. Gravity (or lack there of) effects recoil and movement. They also seem to have put some effort into the we...

Re: Trump: Impeach is the new Orange

He should have been immediately arrested once the charges were announced, he technically faces over 300 years in prison. It'll be another several months before the trial takes place in which time he can run and possibilty become president again which means he can't be arrested. Imagine the damage he...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Master and Commander I'm pretty sure I saw this a couple of years after it came out but remember very little about it. It's set during a period of history I have little interest in so wasn't expecting much. It's really good, for a film set on a sailing ship it moves at a cracking pace. The opening ...
