Re: Borderlands 3

I can probably wait six months. Maybe Epic will have sorted their privacy and security issues by September.

Re: Anthem [PC, PS4, XBone] - February 22nd 2019

I think Bioware themselves deserve a lagre portion of the blame. Obviously working with Frostbite wasn't ideal but they spent so long just doing nothing in terms of development it seems with no real idea about what the game was meant to be. The way in which Edmonton dismissed the views of Austin was...

Re: Switch & Nintendo News/Discussion

Best Buy accidentally put up listings for Persona 5, Metroid Prime Trilogy and Zelda Link to the Past. First two are not a surprise and have long been rumoured. The last one is a bit of a shock though and it turned out later that this was an error and was meant to be a listing for Wind Walker HD.

Re: The Humble Bundle, Weekly & Store Deals Thread

New Namco Bandai bundle. Pay 77p for Enslaved and Pac Man CE DX+ which is a bit of a steal. Top tier is £19.20 for Tekken 7. https://www.humblebundle.com/games/bandai-namco-bundle-3?hmb_source=humble_home&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=mosaic_section_1_layout_index_1_layout_type_twos_tile_inde...

Re: Anthem [PC, PS4, XBone] - February 22nd 2019

EA/Bioware's response is pretty rubbish. They didn't even bother to read the full article before posting the response, just responded to a bullet point summary Kotaku sent them before they published their story.

Re: The Outer Worlds - PC, PS4, X1 2019

I can't help feeling that Obsidian started out with grand plans and then didn't have the budget to see them through and had to scale things back leading to what looks and feels rather rough. Maybe no big shame if I can't play this for a while judging on this footage.

Train Valley for a little over a pound. This is a great little puzzle game and is an absolute steal at that price.

Re: Sega Mega Drive Mini - September 19

I really don't see the point in this one given that 'all time great' Mega Drive game collections with 30+ titles in have been available on both Steam and PSN/Xbox Live for years now. The biggest reason is that M2 are doing the emulation and this is a cheaper way of getting all the titles together. ...

The Renault wasn't slow, was just behind the Red Bull before the engine issues.

Re: The F1 thread

Ricciardo summed it up in that F1 doc on Netflix, he wanted to be somewhere where he felt happy, that to him was as important as winning and he didn't feel that at Red Bull. He also bore the brunt of the reliability issues at Red Bull so it's not like he was giving up what he felt like was a reliabl...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

So this wasn't made clear at the time but the idea behind the votes was to whittle down the choices and then bring back the most popular ones on Monday for a second vote. This second vote might include some kind of vote transfer so that they can come to a clear choice.
