Re: Epic Games launch their Steam competitor

Epic have said they wont be having Sales, will be up to individual developers to set the prices of their games. So prices could remain high on the Epic store and if a developer was to put their game on sale for a limited time, you would be hard pressed to know about it as it seems Epic wont be publi...

Re: Epic Games launch their Steam competitor

Epic posted their own Tweet, now removed, that has the Outer Worlds logo in the background, also Heavy Rain.

Re: Xbox & Microsoft News/Discussion

Next round of Game Pass games have been announced.

Deus Ex - March 21
Edith Finch - March 21
Vampyr - March 28
Walking Dead Michonne - March 28
Operencia - March 29
MvC Infinite - April 1
Minecraft - April 4

I'll give Vampyr a try and Operencia looks interesting.

Re: Epic Games launch their Steam competitor

Outer Worlds is being produced under the Private Division label of Take Two, so isn't part of the Microsoft buyout of Obsidian.

Re: Epic Games launch their Steam competitor

PCGamesN might have accidentally revealed that Outer Worlds is going to be an Epic Store exclusive. They tweeted about it and linked to a different story and now the tweet has disappeared. Apparently one of a few announcements due today, possibly as part of Epic's Unreal GDC talk.

Re: Google Stadia

I watched the whole event and thought it was a complete waste of time. It was classic tech company nonsense, talk about a load of stuff that everyone else does and claim it is revolutionary. There was no mention of price or even talk about what kind of connection you will need to get 4k visuals at 6...

Doom Guy has got tits :?

Also, where is the horror ?
Is that a problem?

Film looks awful and I find it funny that Bethesda have distanced themselves from it.

Re: The Division 2 [PC, PS4, XBone] - March 15th 2019

It's a tough game and you really need to be careful as the AI will murder you if you are not careful but it is doable and I've spent the majority of my time solo. It's a lot more fun in co-op and easier mostly but you wont lose out by playing it on your own. It's also really easy to join up with ran...

Re: The Division 2 [PC, PS4, XBone] - March 15th 2019

Man this game is so good. It's taken all the good stuff I liked from the original game and then added a load of new stuff on top. The highlight so far has been the world and level design. Washington DC feels a lot more alive than New York did what with the increase in enemy and friendly patrols and ...

Re: The F1 thread

Just read on the BBC that Hamilton suffered floor damage on lap four which caused him to loose downforce so that explains the loss of speed. They are not sure what caused it as he didn't go off the track, maybe it was a curb. He also said he drove slower to make sure his tyres would last after the e...

Re: The elephant in the room - Brexit

Only problem is, if the government can say "No" to a referendum, and it's perfectly legal to do so, it kinda makes a mockery of the referendum system in the first place. Why even have them at all? Many would argue that you should never have a referendum because we elect politicians to make decision...

Started playing a great platformer made in a retro style called Odallus: The Dark Call , where you play a barbarian called...HAGGIS! https://www.gog.com/game/odallus_the_dark_call Quite hard, but I really love the graphics and theme. I have a spare Humble key for this if anyone is interested in pla...
