Its the only reason I give a crap about it. I just hope they go all out and not just a few psychosis/fantasy songs which it kind of looks like the way its going.
I think it's the fantasy route. If it was a fill blown musical people just wouldn't go see it regardless of the quality.

Re: General Film News

The musical aspect is a little off putting for me but it could still be great.

Definitely give it a chance but then again if you're not feeling it by episode 3 it's not for you. Episode 5 has the most inventive carnage I've seen in a long time.

I've no problem with rats either, highly intelligent and apparently giggle when you tickle them.

That rat in Raid's pic is an absolute unit! I'm wondering if someone's exotic pet may have gotten loose. The tail is weird looking.

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

I think some of the episodes were based on events from WW2 and the alien Chigs are almost like Western perception of the Japanese of the era.

What made me laugh are the rogue silicates, basically identical to the ones from Red Dwarf

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Space: Above & Beyond First released in 1995 and made by the creators of the X Files. Set in the 2060's with marine pilots fighting a hostile alien race. Sounds like typical 90's pish but it's actually pretty good and tries to stay grounded. A 90's Battlestar Galactica would be the closest thing bu...

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 [PC, PS4, XBone] - out September 17 2020

Nothing new about the game just that I finished the main story. This was my 2nd playthrough but that was prior to 2.0 and I remembered nothing about it. First off it's an amazing game, definitely one of my favorites now. The turnaround from what was released to what we have now is black and white. O...

3 Body Problem I've seen next to no one talking about this (apart from it's banned in China). Made by the two guys behind Game of Thrones series based on a Chinese sci-fi novel. It's very much in the style of a Netflix series in that it's actually pretty good but will no doubt get cancelled shortly...

Re: Currently Playing

Diablo 4 is now on Game Pass. Downloaded it yesterday decided to have a quick look last night. Much to my annoyance it required setting up an account with Blizzard, this was after already logging into Xbox and Game Pass. In a fit of probable stupidity I got the hump and uninstalled without ever pla...

I got 5 out of 6 but admittedly at least two of those were a lucky guess. Used headphones on my laptop and just picked the ones where I could hear the background instruments the best. With Susanne Vega it was the wet sounds of her mouth opening and closing :?

Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Latest episode of Shogun was great. I love how he swings from thinking he has a grasp on the culture to getting blindsided by some seemingly little thing. MotA was a slow drag for the first few episodes but it definitely gets better later. The fate of some of the bailed out aircrew was horrifying as...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

Yeah I always found 80's Bill Murray to be unpleasant but I do love Ghostbusters. Speaking of 80's/90's... Dark Angel A 7ft alien criminal lands on Earth and injects people with massive overdoses of heroin and then sucks the "high" juice out of their skull. Dolph Lundgren is a cop trying to stop him...
