Re: Baldur's Gate 3: developed by Larian Studios
I guess I better finish the first one and actually play the second then.

It's also Jeff's favoured cuisine.
At this point has he essentially become a fully fledged member? Seems interesting having a group of renowned heroes who have a miniature beholder as a mascot.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Shall we have a break for a couple of weeks now that this portion of the campaign is wrapped up? Gives us all time to complete any time skip stuff on the forum and also additional time for Wrath to plan the next part of the campaign out if he needs it. I only suggest this as it's my missus' birthday...

Re: The Covid-19 thread
Football is cancelled for the foreseeable future, lots of businesses telling their employees to work from home. It looks like the government's line of not panicking or doing anything yet and just sucking it up isn't really flying for a lot of people. Johnson said that they estimated there could alre...

Re: The Covid-19 thread
Quite a strong statement from the government on it today. "It is going to spread further and I must level with you, I must level with the British public, many more families are going to lose loved ones before their time." At least Boris is stepping up his game and being straight with people. You kno...

Re: The Covid-19 thread
Someone pointed out to me that people were calling 999 when KFC ran out of chicken a year or so ago. So yeah, the hysteria among the public when we have to take actual measures to try and stop further infections is going to be interesting. I think my whole department is considering plans for long te...

Re: The Covid-19 thread
This was always going to become a global pandemic when most of the major countries refused to take rapid action for fear of the short term damage to their economies. Doomed if you do, doomed if you don't. Now we're facing significantly more deaths but for the sake of not suffering an economic downtu...

Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread
I've enacted the temporary fix that seemed to resolve things last time.
When the hosting contract comes up for renewal in Autumn I'm likely going to try and move the site to a new provider though as these issues are starting to aggravate me.

Re: The Covid-19 thread
Someone at our office has been made to work from home because they've potentially been in contact with someone who has it.
I'd love to be told to work from home for a few weeks.

Re: The Covid-19 thread
24 hour news at our fingertips. People can't help themselves with this kind of stuff. The media spends every minute of every day trying to get our attention with instant updates on every little issue and people get caught up in hysteria. If a seriously threatening Pandemic did bite UK supply chains ...

Re: The Covid-19 thread
Quite a few supermarkets are already selling out of toilet paper. People are bonkers.
Meanwhile I was talking to someone the other day who suggested that they might book a holiday to Italy because the flights are dirt cheap at the moment.

Re: The Covid-19 thread
I don't think it's "just like flu but with less symptoms" either. It might be for some but depending on how badly it affects you, it could potentially lead to you requiring machine assistance just to breathe. If cases in the UK start hitting a few thousand I might petition my boss to let me work at ...

Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake [PS4] - April 10th
That is pretty poor. Another reason to dislike this whole episodic approach they've taken. I'd have been happy with them not turning each section into it's own 40 hour game and just taking a bit longer to make the whole thing. I'm surprised at how tactical the combat actually is. I think I was spend...
