Re: Good TV (aka, the TV series spamthread), the second series

Wheyyy, somebody else who knows WTF Letterkenny is!

Loved it, I thought the last season was a good send-off, too. Shoresy is good, but not the same.

Re: Currently Playing

Hell Let Loose Played one match yesterday and it was confusing, difficult and a tad frustrating. Good luck with that one – a bunch of my friends play it, but I absolutely cannot stand it. We call it "running and dying simulator". The maps are huge and you often spawn so far away from the action tha...

Re: Currently Playing

The Entropy Centre after a friend completed and recommended it. I've only just started this one, but first impressions a very good. The sound, visual, and computer character design is lovely. I'm looking forward to uncovering the mystery! Cool central device for the puzzles too — you rewind specifi...

Re: Forum Bugs and Errors Reporting Thread

Ropey again tonight, getting time out errors. Um, it's also running PHP 7.3, which is absolutely ancient and unsupported , yikes. 7.4 is also dead, and 8.0... Looks like this host are more geared towards WordPress, at a guess? Maybe I'm out-of-date there though, but I've not seen anyone except WordP...

Anyone else having an issue in which the forum randomly freezes or takes a long time to load? Trying to figure out if my browser acting up or not.
Yeah, sometimes it just doesn't load for like 30s, then it's fine again.

Re: General Gaming News

It's still not enough to get me to jump. £40 for basically the same game I'm already playing? Pass. What's made it worse is the absolute travesty of UX. A regular experience in CoD now is to launch "CoD HQ", which then says it needs an update and restarts. Then it moans about shaders. When I click o...

Re: Starfield has a release date

Emil Pagliarulo says an awful lot of outspoken critics are "disconnected" from the realities of game development. This opening line alone got my back up. It suggests he thinks they did the best job they could within the constraints of "that's just how game development is", itself a flawed assumptio...

Re: The Absolute State Of It - It's The UK Politics Thread!

This is what happens when you have people whose primary source of 'news' is TikTok. Absolutely not, no. I'm not even sure some of them know what TikTok is. The truth is that every form of media has an agenda, and I can perhaps understand why there's so much hate in modern politics because it really...

Re: The Absolute State Of It - It's The UK Politics Thread!

The voters the Tories are appealing to have this anxiety about asylum seekers (to the point where I've seen people fretting about them taking up entire hotels and stockpiling weapons for some big assault, which is patently bollocks) and they're being told that they're correct - that they SHOULD be ...
