Re: Red Dead Redemption 2 [PS4, XBone] - October 26th
I've seen countless people saying how awkward the controls are - are they any worse than the first game?

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
We watched Searching last night. If you've not heard of it, a single dad's teenage daughter goes missing. The entire film takes place on the dads computer screen. Video calls, Internet searches, news footage. It's an interesting idea, and wasn't nearly as annoying as I thought it could possibly be. ...

Re: A great big thread about comics
Oh, almost forgot but wanted to mention, bargain of the day yesterday... In B&M they've had these Batman sets for ages. It's a Joker and Harley Quinn figure packaged with the Batman graphic novel Mad Love. I checked Amazon and the set is around £25 or so (with an RRP of £35). B&M were selling it for...

A great big thread about comics
Hello! Do you like comics? Let's talk about them. Here's what I'm currently reading. Spider-Man I've been reading comics for most of the 39 years I've been on this planet, yet had a huge, spider shaped hole in my knowledge of the medium. I read two books about 20 years ago, hated them and never went...

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2 [PS4, XBone] - October 26th
I end up having to work 50+ hours a week regularly despite only being paid for 40. I'm supposed to be able to take it back as TOIL, in reality? Never happens.

Re: Currently Listening
I've also been listening to a lot of Russian Circles recently. It's really good. Instrumental post-rock, occasionally heavy as fuck. I think a lot of people on here would like it. I recommend starting with the album Guidance, which is their most recent I think.

Cane And Rinse just did a two hour podcast on this game, it's quite interesting.

Re: Death Stranding [PS4]
I can't wait for this. Kojima, in my opinion, is an unequivocal genius, and has produced nothing but gold, time after time. I came to the MGS series late. I played the first Solid game on PS1 upon released but only played the rest a couple of years ago, but absolutely loved every minute of all of th...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
We watched Ghost Stories the other night. I thought it was OK, but I thought each story ended far too quickly.

Re: Podcasts
Does nobody listen to The Computer Game Show? That's probably my favorite weekly podcast, with the guys who used to do Joypod.
Also, Serial season three is a fine return to form after the less interesting second season.

I've really just been going through the whole GYBE! back catalogue lately. They remain one of my favorite bands. Their latest album took a few plays, but it really is a masterpiece, expertly straddling cold bleak paranoia, and absolute euphoria with ease. They are geniuses.

Re: Something old, something new...
This is a blast from the past. I used to check in on Preys every year or so just to check everyone was still kicking about. I was surprised when I tried a couple of weeks ago and found only an index page! Good to see it didn't all disappear!
