Re: I Just Watched (Films)
I just love how well put-together the first one is, it's been 2 or 3 years since I last saw it. It really feels like a bunch of New York university drop-outs who strike it big, the way it's filmed feels authentic. It has a really gritty, grimy aesthetic. Plus I love the dry sense of humour that run...

Re: Outcast - A new beginning
I played the demo during Next Fest, it was... fine? It felt ok pottering about, doing a couple of tasks and assaulting a base, but from what I've read it's incredibly repetitive and while those were ok first time around not sure how keen I'd be to keep doing the same things over and over. Also, mayb...

Re: The Absolute State Of It - It's The UK Politics Thread!
I live in North Hampshire, where you could stick a blue rosette on a piece of shit with a KKK hood on it and it would be elected over any other party sadly. Lol... I can only sympathise with this being just up the road, don't think I've once voted for the winning side in any form of election since ...

Agreed, been slightly addicted to this over the weekend! The addition of the pet sub-classes is nice as well, although torn as to whether I like my wolf pups or my dragon bois more

Yeah, I read a Jay Kristoff series last year, Nevernight Chronicles I think, and enjoyed it a lot, so will check that out when I finished this current series

Re: Warhammer 40k: Rogue Traders - new Owlcat RPG
Oh that's a shame, the patches probably helped. The big one dropped just as I was finishing act 3 so I probably had a smoother ride of it to the end

Re: Warhammer 40k: Rogue Traders - new Owlcat RPG
Aaaaand finished! Just the 3-odd months of playing almost daily to get to the end  I'm not sure if it's because I was playing so slowly - as part of featuring a daily, hour-long video on my channel - but I really enjoyed it all the way to the end, without the same fatigue WB reported feeling in...

Re: General Gaming News
Another interesting point in the video, when talking about the increasing cost of games to buy, is official licenses... AAA publishers are paying big bucks for the rights to have a recognisable IP for their game, the cost of which is then passed onto players. Players then in turn are rejecting these...

Re: General Gaming News
For sure. I can't even remember the last time I didn't play a AA or indie game in favour of playing a AAA-game, let alone paying full-price for one. I found their thoughts on the market's rejection of the new £70 price-point publishers are pushing (perniciously!) interesting, it makes sense sales ar...
