Re: Currently Playing
Hitman 3. Crepes almighty the last bunch of levels really are something. China especially since that entire area is pretty much like New York from Deus Ex. Topside civilian area with many building to enter, and a whole secret facility under the city to expore. Also due to the plot no-one is making c...

Re: Currently Playing
I grabbed my laptop riser stand and slotted some card to prop up the Switch. It works, although not very portable though. Uhh i've also been playing some stuff on the Sega Saturn. Gave Bulk Slash a try and got hooked. Got so hooked onto the game that I strained my left thumb tendon. The Saturn has a...

Re: Currently Playing
Not sure whats up with Cave, the developers of shumps, being a bit piss poor when marketing their games. Anyway I learnt that DoDonPachi Resurrection was released on the Switch last year and just grabbed it. Stretch the screen to fit and rotate for Tate and woah, it works well in portable mode! Now ...

Re: The For Sale, Swapping and Giveaway Thread
Long shot, dont suppose anyone is in the market for an Ipad Pro 11 2nd edition. 256gb, cellular with Apple Pencil and the official cactus coloured magnetic case. Boxes for everything and everything in near as new condition. £600 all in. Pics if interested. I bought it with some notion I was going t...

Psychonauts 2.
I loved the first game, yet I didn't back the sequel back in 2019. It should have been a no brainer!
Now my chances of owning a physical copy is next to none, and this is one game that really needs to exist on a printed disc.

Re: PC Speakers
I try to keep a hold of electronic devices for as long as possible, just to avoid grabbing a new interation which has some kind of compromise to the original that starts bugging at me when I use it. Finding experienced technicians to service stuff can be tricky, sometimes you just gotta open it your...

Series 1 T20 speakers? Hope you didn't bin them, the drivers are Cambridge Audio. Well worth considering repairwork from a professional if possible.
I still got my T20 S1, although switching them on causes a bit of a pop noise due to dirt in the power dial. Don't you give up on me speakers!

Re: Halo Infinite- Out December 8
Gave this a blast over the weekend and found it to be alright, but after a while I find its best to organise into teams with proper comms for the best experience. Like all the previous Halo MP games. I can only guess and sync up pick ups with power cell carriers and flag runners and the lot like tha...

I know, right?!
I've started playing it too, and discovering things like "ah I can also treat the words as blocks" and "gah! I should be thinking vertically" is just amazings.

Re: The All Things nVidia Thread
Out of curiosity I tried out a recent Unreal engine game (Tales of Arise) on my gaming laptop with a 970 and it’s giving me a solid 60fps all the way through. Kinda wonder if the average PC gamer even needs the high end stuff just yet. Anyway I’m happy with the 2060 in my desktop PC. It’s the little...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)
It’s a great film that managed to pretty much show a lot more of the world than I expected. Talking of films with long quiet\silent panning shots with little dialogue I stumbled across an old anime film from 1985 called Angels Egg, which is a trip . I dunno if it happened or not but I think I may ha...

Re: Currently Playing
I don’t recall that many cutscenes in Psychonauts 1, you might be better off playing that game instead. While my PC can run stuff like Cyberpunk with RTX I’ve been loading Nuclear Throne instead. After 130 deaths I’ve finally finished one run. I got some of the most crazy and downright stupid (unfai...

This handheld reminds me of a Samsung P300.
Anyway I would love to pick one of these up after the first couple of batches have sold and all the major bugs have been squashed.

Re: Steam News & Updates
I’ve been seeing these AMD APU units creep into handheld devices for a short while now, such as this one. https://www.ayaneo.com/aya-neo They certainly look pretty capable. I played through Wasteland 2 on the Switch, and while it absolutely hammered the Switch for performance the overall experience ...
