Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes

Yep, no problem. Work is ramping up as we do a major software release at the end of every July, so chances are my brain will be fried for the next few weeks anyway. ;)

Plumbers. The shower knob has completely broken, leaving the shower unable to fully turn off (it's an ancient electric one in dire need of replacement anyway). With any other similar situation in life, you'd contact the appropriate professional and they'd come and sort it as agreed. But no, for this...

Re: I Just Watched (Films)

As is usually the case with movie adaptations, I think you really need to be a fan of the medium and have read the original manga to properly appreciate Akira. If reading the source material gives you a wider or deeper appreciation of an adaptation, that’s great, but if it’s essentially a requireme...

Here's a list of Greater Gods that Sage and Charr found details about in their research (the ones highlighted red are those Asmodeus suggested): https://i.imgur.com/n9IwXrw.png EDIT - Also I think I've solved the problem with not being able to see what all player tokens can see. The lighting setting...

The petty schadenfreude of being publicly and haughtily told you've spelled something incorrectly, only to double-check the dictionary and demonstrate that you were correct.

You can get your partner to drive to most destinations - I forget which button it is, but essentially it works as fast travel so you don't waste time driving around.

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

My arm’s ruckused again, which I expected, but this time I also feel like I’m burning up a bit. The irony is that my body temp has dropped almost a full degree since this morning, which is bizarre. Otherwise not terrible.

Re: The Covid-19 Thread

Vaccination number 2 today. Looking forward to another series of panic attacks and a dead arm. It will be interesting to see if I have any of the other symptoms I had after the first, or whether they were unrelated. As well as the arm pain that lingered for several weeks, I had a spaced-out, l...
