Recommend an uninstall program

Post by Achtung Englander » Mon Dec 02, 2019 9:27 am

Today I wanted to uninstall a program. Using Win 10 control panel uninstall I found I could not sort by date modified which is incredibly shit. Does anyone here use a professional uninstall program - can you recommend one. I do not mind paying

I found this but I would like some feedback from friends first. Thanks

I use the iobit one on this list.
There's nothing it's had a problem with yet, and you can sort the list of programs by install date, which is handy if you've got shitloads.

I tend to use CCleaner >> tools.
I might have a look at these uninstaller things though. EDIT: Oh, CCleaner was on the list anyway :)

Yup, I have a sub for CCleaner, cracking little tool with a number of great applications.

Whilst we're on the topic of CCleaner. You can nab 1 year premium free by going to Options --> About --> Upgrade to PRO and enter the following...

Then register. Job's done!

I've just discovered why my computer has been unusually active for what seems like an age, and I had put it down to age, in fact, due to its advancing years. Anyway, HPTouchpointAnalyticsClient was swallowing memory like billy o when I checked in with Task Manager just now, even though my printer is rarely on, this thing is a memory drain, and is now gone, and my fan is tickling along nice and calmly now.....it might be the reason I've had stutters in my gaming too. Fucking thing. If you have it, uninstal it, its unnecessary, and a fucking resource hog.
