I would appreciate any advice you can offer me on how to clone my failing system drive onto a new one.
Existing drive is a Crucial M4 SSD 128gb which is showing "S.M.A.R.T. Status BAD, Backup and Replace". I have a new Crucial MX500 SSD, 250GB ready to go. I was going to pop that on the Samsung SSD drive plug and disconnect all the other HD's I have in there, so that there is just the 2 Crucials. Could you tell me how I clone the system onto the new drive, and recommend any (free if poss) reliable software to do it, please.
Thanks in advance.

Pretty much, don't even need to swap it around can just take out the bad drive.

Cool thanks, will probably use it as a game drive just to see how long it takes to fail fully.
