I’ve just bought a second monitor for my WFH setup. I got a splitter that supports monitor extension, but hadn’t realised it would require drivers that I don’t have permission to install.
So two questions:
1) Is there any way around it?
2) Are there any splitters that don’t require drivers that will allow desktop extension?

Re: Duel monitors
This is what I use for handling multiple monitors on my work laptop:

I don’t recall it ever needing any drivers installing, though it’s possible Windows installed them in the background. Works nicely for my setup.

Re: Duel monitors
Thanks Mate, have ordered!
It says it supports Dell, I’m hoping the drivers I already have might work? I really don’t know anything about this sort of thing.
I’ve already tried to pull windows onto the currently useless monitor about five times this morning.

Worked out the box and was 15 quid cheaper than the one I initially bought.

Nice one, glad it works!
