I’ve had a bunch break on me, always the shoulder buttons and if you open them up you’ll see why. The rest is a good lump of controller but the bumpers are just awful. Thank goodness for amazons pretty loose returns policy.
If anyone’s looking for something in the same vein without breaking the bank the “8Bitdo Ultimate controller with Hall Effect” controller is fantastic. It’s about 45-50 from Amazon or about 35-40 from their AliExpress store. It’s far and away the best bang for your buck. It’s also very nice in pink!

Thankfully I don't really use the bumpers; I don't find the controller sits quite right if I'm resting a finger on them, my index fingers naturally rest on the triggers instead. I ended up using two of the underside triggers to replicate the inputs.
The 8Bit-do controller does look nice, but only has two of the XBox Elite's four underside triggers, which I don't think is enough.

Re: The 'Look What the Postman Brought Me' Thread - Technology Edition
*Bump*
I realised that I'd not yet shared anything about my new PC, more importantly the very first out of the box freshly built PC I have ever owned in matter of fact. I attempted to look up the build in question from the site I purchased from but alas it seems that particular one has now been removed from sale, instead now replaced by a slew of much dearer 4060ti inspired builds so in some form I kind of feel that I bagged a bargain when I did in all honesty. The entire point was I was on the clock like everyone else still on Win 10 thanks to Microsoft's actions in a few months and all in all just wanted to grab what I could without any need for excessiveness. What has impressed me the most by far is the GPU which has such a bad rep, no external power requirements to speak of and has already created so many memorable gaming moments for something as inconspicuous as it is. Just a little fella.
Those all important Specs then - prepare yourself...

Can you really complain when you are buying into an RTX/DLSS/FG based PC for far less than I expected with the all important Windows 11 included? Not really. Sure you can buy cheaper on Amazon but most people don't seem to realise many of those sellers are a little suspect as are the builds in question. I ended up going with Cyberpower and genuinely could not be happier having now owned it for a few months. I know it's far far from the most impressive specs you ever did see (I looked up certain parts and yep they go for peanuts on Amazon) but irrespectively it runs wonderfully/silently and has fantastic airflow considering there's what all but 3 fans in there, it's as cool as my old Corsair minus four fans including a Noctua due to zero cables clogging it all up. I can run everything at my maxed out monitor refresh rate no problem which is all of 75Hz but serves me fine.
And yes that's a £10 Trust branded mouse, initially I was just desperate to buy something well anything to match the case colour scheme and as it turned out the very first I bought ended up actually being unexpectedly rather great once my claw adjusted to using it. If it works, it works.
Edit: Do try and ignore the sketch of me on the wall my daughter did several years ago.

But was it that GPU? That's the important bit

So much for my proofreading skills, I was sure I included that.
It's an RTX 3050 6Gb (1042Mhz clock/1750Mhz mem /1470Mhz boost) with a 70w power limitation, I don't know what the brand is - very possibly a Palit or Zotac Solo brand. I upgraded from a GTX 1060 I had for 6 years.
Edit: Tonight I decided to take a proper look at the GPU and it turns out to be a Gainward GeForce RTX 3050 Pegasus OC edition...
https://www.gainward.com/main/vgapro.ph ... ov&lang=en
On top, I picked up a White MSI PRO MP2412W 23.8 Inch Full HD Office Monitor - 1920 x 1080 Wide View Panel, 100 Hz Display...

A steal at just £58.

Re: The 'Look What the Postman Brought Me' Thread - Technology Edition
Sly my dear fellow I believe he has been heavily in the green camp since at the very least 2017 according to videos on the Youtube channel. From an AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB to then an AMD R9 270 Dual-X OC 2GB to a GTX 1060 6GB G1 in 2019 and finally now of course the RTX 3050 VRAM equivalent.
I know some might be all smh at sticking with a measly 6gb what with all the current 8gb backlash but after many years of sticking directly to medium settings on quite often but not always on all games, so I'm long past caring too much about not having enough VRAM as sure and sound a game runs well - there's plenty of additional graphical trickery now available to make games both look and run considerably better.
Also, if anyone is pondering I'm at all severely limiting myself in 2025 with these kinds of specs...

Doesn't drop down anywhere close to what I was playing at previous which was an okish consistent 75fps, not even when it gets super hairy.
