They're the new Creative T-20 speakers that seemingly everyone on Preys-World owned.

I still use those as my main PC speakers too. Can't believe how long I've had them really.

Yup, mine are still going strong too. They're by far the oldest component of my PC setup at 11 years.

I'm pretty sure I bought those on forum recommendation, still using them

For anyone considering joining us, the Gamers Arms Official Headphones are currently £249.99 on Amazon; they're normally £330 new.

I just treated myself to one of the highest end eReaders....

Got it for a pittance too! \:D/

Tore the screen on my Paperwhite. Still mostly works but the backlight shines right on through and its real annoying. Got an Oasis, sent it back because its massive! (Why are we in a cycle of making everything bigger again?!) Thought about the first gen Oasis since its smaller but apparently its just a Voyage with less features and a different shape. :-k

I wish Kobo would make a new Mini with a backlight and page turn buttons. Formfactor of that little thing was perfect for going in any pocket.

I like to think of us all clad in these (they seem a TGA favourite) typing posts in utter serenity while the world explodes around us :D
This weekend I briefly thought there was a minor earthquake, until I realised I'd forgotten about the washing machine going in the next room and it was on the spin cycle. I couldn't hear it, because these headphones are ridiculous.

I live between Aldershot (army base) and Odiham (RAF base). At the weekend they were having an exercise, with Chinook and Apache helicopters flying overhead and lots of small arms fire. I only knew this from seeing the helicopters - I couldn't hear it, because these headphones are ridiculous.

Look what the postman brought to roughly my general area and then didn't tell me exactly where forcing me to go out in the pouring rain to knock on all of my neighbours' doors looking for the thing because he couldn't be arsed to put a ticket through the door.

I likes me a quality peripheral I does, and it's one of the product categories I don't mind spending a bit of money on.

This is a throttle controller from a company called Virpil, a small company that produces flight controllers, based in Lithuania. It's replacing the Thrustmaster Warthog throttle unit (I still use the stick from that HOTAS set) I've had for several years that, while decent, has such an awkward layout for flying anything but the A-10C Warthog whose controls it replicates, and I don't fly the 'Hog much these days. This thing is bloody covered in buttons and hats and dials and axes, probably too many for me to actually realistically use, but they're in places I can actually find with my fingers while blind, because, and this bit is key, I play flight sims in a VR headset and can't look at the controller. Even the fact that the new one has a proper analogue stick for controlling your targeting pod and other sensors rather than the awful "analogue" nub the TM unit has (that was so over-sensitive to basically be impossible to use with any finesse) was a valid reason for upgrading.

It is the absolute height of controller luxury. I have an entire dial that does nothing but turn up the brightness on the F/A-18C's helmet mounted display.
