Seems like a lot of unneeded bloat again to being added. The comments in the video is what they should be getting on with.

So my relatively new laptop (about 6 months old) is now blue screening after about 5 minutes. It was working fine on Tuesday, the last time I used it, but now I can't do anything on it. Last thing I did was checked for updates which ran fine then it just shit the bed. Anyone else having issues after updating?

I tried reverting back to before update but same issue. Can't even update Nvidia drivers as I've seen suggested as I don't get a chance before it crashes again.

I’ve seen a few folk saying naughty words about the most recent update:(

I've updated today but it's not offering me the 2004 feature update yet.
I've turned off automatic updates and gotten into the habit of doing a drive backup before any Win10 update now. That 15mins could save me hours of tears.

I uninstalled the latest update and rebooted, was fine for about 10 minutes then crashed again. After another reboot and disabling automatic updates its been stable now for about 25 minutes so here's hoping!! I'd advise against running the latest update as it very much seems to be fucked :x

Aaaand it's crashed again, fuck this.

run a BSOD diagnostics program or analyse the dump note to see where the issue is. Sounds like an incompatibility issue with a kernal driver.

kernal
Heh, you're either showing your age or made a typo here. Kernal is how Commodore spelled it. :D

I had to let all the general updates install in advance before choosing Feature update 2004 which finally worked this weekend along with the mini update to make PDFs readable in MS Edge once more. Before that it never worked but I'm on 7.5 year old build and costing up a replacement next year.

Cheers Snowy, will do in a new thread because as usual, despite one decent GPU labs test it could've all changed in the past six months.
