Sigh.

Can't they get decent coverage on one band before they start rolling out another? Waste of fuckin' money.

I’ve never once thought “4Gs too slow” but from the point of view of one day it could be viable for home broadband that’s kind of cool.

Yeah, can't disagree there. I've only had good 4G coverage for two or three years.

And no, I can't say I've ever had any issues with 4G being too slow. Are people watching 4k movies over it or something?

You could probably do that fine, it’s 50mbps is t it? Most home broadband isn’t 50mbps. The big upgrade to 5g is in latency more than speed I think so gaming is more viable.

Laughs in 220Mbit.

I'm supposedly on 80mb/sec with Virgin and more often than not, 4G beats the piss out of it.

I had to use Virgin Media about 5 years ago when I rented. It was one of the worst services I have ever paid for. Utterly shit.

I'm on 220Mbit with Virgin, and consistently get that or sometimes even more, which is weird.

Are you on Virgin's fibre network, or just standard phone line stuff like BT et al offer?

Been with Virgin for years. Has been the most rock solid service. Always get slightly more than I pay for :)

Don't like the price though I went from the top package down to 50 to save money.

Like Rusty I've been with Virgin for years. The only problem I've ever had with them is when you have to phone them which is almost never. Other than that top notch service.

It was fibre. It must of been where the house was located as then I could not get a BT service and had to use Virgin. I work from home and every other week I would lose service for a whole day. This was before I had a massive 4G allowance today so I could have used my phone as a hotspot. It used to drive me furious. I must have lost 2 weeks of work.

Granted the house was haunted. I am not even joking - that house had some strange events that spooked the family and the poor maintenance guy when I told him. He turned white because he said something impossible happened when he was working on the house. We experienced 3 events that were really odd and wholly out of the ordinary. So shit broadband was another headache.

Sounds like the spirits were leeching all your bandwidth for all that sweet goo porn.

The guy turning white is just a side effect of the above.
