After unlocking the hatch with his key, Doc Scotum climbs down into Holler's wine-cellar and finds:
1. A shovel!
2. A bottle of Gin Pills (heals d4 HP, but only when drunk)
3. A display cabinet, in which is a taxidermised fish with silvery scales.

If I go out to the stables, is there any sign amidst the gore and the flames of the 307 silver I had in my saddlebags?
Re: Frontier Scum, Scene IV: Everything Will Burn!
I guess Doc will scoop it all up in his arms and stagger back upstairs.
"Better than nothin'," he grumbles, "but it's damn close to it."
Question on the gin pills, does it mean the character has to be already intoxicated for the healing to take place, or do the pills have to be mixed in a liquid and then drunk?

Great, I suspected it was the case but wasn't sure.
Doc will grab the finest looking bottle of whiskey he can see in the bar, keep the gin pills and drop the shovel and stuffed fish for any of the others to take if they so wish.

Doc stuffs a bottle of whiskey and some gin pills into his pockets (these are now full; I've updated your sheet).
Meanwhile, while Doc's rummaging about with Holler's supplies inside the saloon, Cadaver Kid steps out of the swing-doors at the front.
Everywhere he looks, the city is aflame. The air is thick with sparks, smoke and pieces of falling timber. Screams, gunshots and shouts echo around the streets.
Cadaver Kid, make a Wits check for me, please! (d20+2)

Just to he clear, Cumflutter kept his new rifle, pistol, ammo and all his money with him in the hotel room.

I assume that it's at this point that the second stick of dynamite, which Doc had also stored in his saddlebag, detonates in Cadaver Kid's face

You know...I hadn't thought of that...but that's a DAMNED GOOD IDEA!
Cadaver Kid, roll a d4+4 (if the original roll is a 4, roll another d4 and add the damage).

Re: Frontier Scum, Scene IV: Everything Will Burn!
Cadaver Kid walks over to the gore-spattered crater that is all that remains of the saloon's stable.
He starts digging through the ashes and smouldering timbers, looking for traces of his silver. He sees what looks like an intact saddle-bag sticking out of the debris. Aha! Could this be his?!
He flips open the lid and sees...a stick of dynamite, the fuse hissing!
HOLY...
BOOM!
Cadaver Kid, either roll a death-check (d20+2), or lose your hat for no damage!

Seems the fates have it in for me, so I guess I’ll go with a death check.
